It is the same with people contracting yersinia pestis, typhus or other epidemic diseases. Back in the times people lacked the knowledge and thus contributed it to miasma or to the wrath of some deity. These days we do have the knowledge and do not have a need to blame supernatural/imaginary powers. If you however feel like that you still have that need then maybe it is time to gain some knowledge.

Please mod, just close this. A thread like this is doomed from the start.
No rest for the mods it seems. Poor guys & girls.
No, but my fart is god's wrath for sure.
Definitely the fault of Garrosh Hellscream ...
Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.
HIV hit the gay community really hard in particular which as a result got the disease unfairly labeled a "gay plague." Not wanting to be accused of being gay, many heterosexuals that contracted the disease either lived in complete denial about it or tried their hardest to keep it a secret. Nobody wanted to talk about AIDS which actually made the illness from a public health standpoint difficult to manage. Tim Richmond of NASCAR fame fell ill with HIV in 1986 and even when he succumbed to AIDS in 1988, claims were made that he had suffered aggressive bouts of pneumonia and was only in the hospital before his death for a motorcycle accident, all of which was bullshit. He just didn't want to be accused of being gay or get banned by NASCAR because no one really knew how you got the disease. The 30 for 30 ESPN film about him is a very interesting watch actually. It really wasn't until Magic Johnson came out as HIV positive that socially people began to open up about not only talking about the disease but also promoting safe sex practices. The 80s were a scary time though as far as that disease was concerned.
This argument makes as much sense as the existence of God.
"This is no swaggering askari, no Idi Amin Dada, heavyweight boxing champion of the King's African Rifles, nor some wide shouldered, medal-strewn Nigerian general. This is an altogether more dangerous dictator - an intellectual, a spitefull African Robespierre who has outlasted them all." - The Fear: Robert Mugabe and the martyrdom of Zimbabwe, Peter Godwin.
Somehow putting the sheer stupidity and heartlessness of this entire post aside, more straight people get HIV than gay... see Africa
