imo the healers lack a hero that appeals to assault/defense/tank players.

It's almost like those players have assault/defense/tank heroes to play, right?

I am a support main, and am pretty thoroughly bored by almost every single hero in the assault/defense categories. The solution here isn't to go "Blizzard make a hero I want" but rather to go "I will focus on the stuff I enjoy, and accept that the world does not revolve around me."

I kinda wish that if a Reaper, Hanzo, or Widowmaker spams "We need a healer" during setup... it automatically put them back to character select and they could only pick from healers. Seriously though, you don't really get anything from winning or losing other than satisfaction. As long as it's not competitive it doesn't really matter.
