Predict the bosses in final raid!

Anyone else think it would be interesting to speculate on the bosses we will be facing in the final raid of this expansion? It's the Legion's last hurrah after all and I think Blizzard will want to send them off with a bang. Blizzard also seem to have settled on 9-10 bosses as a raiding sweetspot for a tier so let's stick to that as a guideline.

Sargeras as the final boss is pretty much a given.

Personally I'd like to see the following, in no particular order (and not all 9-10 lol)

    1. Spider Demon boss. The Spider demons are a new addition to the Legion we have seen yet we haven't had one as a raid boss. They could do one here.
    2. Dreadlord Council. Varimathras, Mal'Ganis and Anetheron as a minimum (Mephistroth and Tichondrius could be brought in for this too but that might be a stretch). We can't finish off the Legion and not tangle with some of these legendary characters one last time.
    3. Talgath. The Eredar who hunted Velen for Kil'Jaeden for millenia. The last raid needs a strong Eredar fight and with the big two most likely dead, Talgath could be a good substitute.
    4. Corrupted Constellar. The Constellar who watched over Argus as Algalon watched over Azeroth, this Constellar would now be enslaved to the Legion and would be like a dark version of the Algalon fight.
    5. Rakeesh. This Eredar butcher would have reformed in the nether since his death on Azeorth and now awaits us in the final raid, another confrontation with Velen could happen here.

    Hakkar the Houndmaster
    Dreadlord Council
    A giant Infernal
Some kind of summoned void creature
A duo/trio/council of corrupted races (fel orc, satyr, fel tauren etc)
    An Aldrachi traitor
    Probably a corrupted Demon Hunter

Azzinoth the Doomguard commander! Maybe get Illidan a new pair of warglaives for people to drool over, seeing as he appears to be using some standard DH ones in Cathedral.

First boss - some kind of pet or construct, probably something along the lines of giant manastalker, fel spider or infernal
second boss - some kind of argus dweller, probably caged animal or similar
third - an arena type fight with ex horde & alliance champion, 2 bosses vs raid, this will be first tier boss
fourth - a gauntlet type fight where we go deeper into the planet
fifth - final bosse's lieutenant, also riding some kind of mount
    sixth - second lieutenant
seventh - council fight vs dreadlords
eight - defend a summoning type of ritual where we summon avatar of light (illidan as a vessel) into argus and daemons try to overrun us, final boss of this encounter being some kind of champion of argus
    ninth - Velen
tenth - cleansing the avatar of azeroth.
    zug zug

what is it paladin, one zug is not enough for ya?

    I have an idea:

    Wing 1: Gates of Mac'aree!

    Bosses:

    1. Hakkar the Houndmaster- Keeps his hounds at Argus' gates....

    2. Azzinoth- Rebuilt from the Ashes of his Twin-blades, Azzinoth seeks to retake his weapons from the Betrayer. He stops us from reaching the city gates...

    3. Rakeesh! Velen and Rakeesh are battling it out at the gates. He's the only thing in our way to assaulting the city. Defeat him, or Spare him....

    Wing 2: The Light's Wrath

    Bosses:

    1. Magtheridon- Original Lord of Outland, Died to Illidan. Seeks to re-take his mantle while his dis-assembled soul is trying to get rebuilt by his minions....

    2. Lord Kazzak- After 2 defeats, Kazzak still lives. Now, he seeks revenge more than ever. End his reign of terror, forever.

    3. Kaz'rogal- Kaz'rogal returns, as he's imbued by the Powers of The Defiler. He's now stronger than ever. End him, or else we'll all burn...

Wing 3: The Citadel of Flame.

    Bosses:

    1. Lord Jarraxus! The Eredar Lord finally fight us with his full-might. End his reign, before he destroys our forces.

    2. Tal'gath- Blessed with the Powers of Sargeras himself, Tal'gath finally has enough power to destroy us! However, will his cockiness be his downfall?

    3. Dreadlord Council- The Dreadlords are the only beings that stop us from Ending the destroyer. Detheroc, Varimathras, Mal'ganis, Tichondrius, Kathra'natir, Anetheron, Mephistroth, and Balnazzar are all at the Front-lines. With their full-might said to be unstoppable, will we prevail?

Wing 4: Fall Of The Crusade!

    Boss:

Sargeras The Destroyer- King Anduin, And Illidan fight Sargeras themselves. All while with you. The Destroyer is powerful, and he plays no games. Stay strong, as this is your FINAL BATTLE to save us all...from destruction.

Lord Mudmug - the mastermind who was behind sargeras fall into madness, and one of void lords. He will let us live if we menage to get him down to 99% hp.

  8. #8
    - Mal'ganis
    - Varimathras
    - Jaraxxus (god please)
    - I heard Hakkar houndmaster is pretty big

    No particular order here:
Hakkar the Houndmaster WITH AN ACTUAL UNIQUE MODEL
Kil'jaeden and Archimonde at the same time (If Kil'jaeden survives the tomb)
    The enslaved soul of Gul'dan
Dreadlords in the style of Paragons of the Klaxxi, much larger than an average council fight
    Talgath
    Azzinoth
    Fel Constellar
Infernal/Giant hybrid, basically a twisted mockery of a Titan Watcher created by Sargeras
    Demon engineer of sorts
    Leader of all Demon Inquisitors/Jailers
And finally, a fully empowered and rebuilt Avatar of Sargeras

There's literally no reason to not have Jaraxxas as a boss.

    We need fresh memes.

As much as I love this idea, I don't see it being possible. The entire theme of the Aldrachi was that they were too prideful to serve. Pride is not something easily broken and twisted to serve another purpose. I really, REALLY want to see what Aldrachi look like.

I wasn't too familiar with the concept and looked it up on wowpedia. It's a cool idea, so why not have Toranaar himself as a boss instead?

Broken by Sargeras and forced to watch his homeworld burn, Toranaar is now alone on Argus, kept alive and maddened by his guilt, his failures and the depredations of the twisted Legion conjuring visions that have left him insane.

Players encounter Toranaar deep inside the final raid, where he becomes convinced that they are his tormenters...

Toranaar was *literally* obliterated by the Avatar of Sargeras during the conquest of the Aldrachi homeworld.

I will say a traitor Aldrachi is not impossible though, every culture has its traitors. And as I mentioned before, it would be glorious.

My only hope is that there aren't many placeholder irrelevant bosses. I want big names.

You've mentioned many already, so I'll give a shot to other.

    Velen's wife
    Thal'kiel the headless
Mother Shahraz (I'm surprised there's no Shivarra boss in the Tomb of Sargeras)

An expansion concept based on K'aresh

Considered to make such a post, yeah!

I hope at least 14 bosses or more will be in the raid.
    What kinds and groups?

I'd be happy to see a raid that would remind of Dante's Inferno. Gates of hell and circles going down and down below. And some big deformed demons unseen before because they are too big and slow or agressive to their own kind as well to be used as legion troops through the portals, but are strong enough to protect Mac'Aree's main place - the great portal through which Sargeras can arrive from the Nether.

    1. Familiar names: Magtheridon (first or one of the first), Hakkar the Houndmaster (skeletal knight with a whip of course), Varimathras (as member of the nathrezim council certainly along with others like Mal'ganis, Detheroc etc), Malchezaar and Jaraxxus (eredar not tweens), Talgath (likely he was KJ's vice president so he'll be endboss of the upper line of the palace, KJ's throne, before we go down through the "Stix" to "Dis" ).Maybe Aggonar, too.

    2. Strongest demons of their kin: the Grand Inquistior (would reeealy want to see one), aranasi queen, biggest Mo'arg or Fel Lord, doom lord chieftain, the Succubus Mistress (really want this one cause encounter themen on seduction, temptation and "forbidden love" would be something fresh imo), Mother of the Impkind, because we need that too.

    3. Mechanical: some soul engine, forge etc, some demonic cannons, airships, fel reavers, whatever. With adds, like the Blast Furnace, but with souls and fel. Abyssals too.

    4. The corrupted ones. Different races and creatures, some captured and tortured from the Army of the Light. This might be a wing that would end with the Grand Inquisitor.

    5. I really really hope to see at least a couple unique demons that have no kinds, single in existence. Biblical references of the Beelzebub, Belial, Vaal (or Baal), Moloch, Abaddon, Azazel etc.

So I'd like to see a raid that would be reminiscent of Dante's Hell and Armageddon at the same time. Any other ideas?

For those who remember the Battle for the Undercity (Horde), we have to fight Varimathras, who cries out at one point during the fight, "A thousand-thousand pardons, Master!" It's clear he's talking to some higher-up in the Legion? So seeing him come back for the Argus raid, is a good idea.

Nathrezim Council is also a good idea. There's almost always one fight with multiple bosses in major raids, that share a health pool. Some nathrezim have been thorns in our side throughout the history of Warcraft and WoW.

Rakeesh, I'm not sure about. Maybe to give Velen a major role in the raid, force him to decide where his priorities are, who he's more loyal to.

Jaraxxus-- why? Then again, I never really got to do Trial of the Crusader much, so maybe there are a lot more people who just plain loved the fight and wanted to know more about him, than I thought.

Now... the final boss of Legion.

There's a video on Youtube, unfortunately I couldn't find it again but I know it's still there, which makes a surprisingly plausible case for...

    Jaina Proudmoore.

She's been MIA since the funeral of Varian Wrynn. King Anduin refused to take action against the Horde after Varian's death. The Council of Six overruled her on bringing the Horde back into Dalaran. Ever since Garrosh dropped the mana bomb on Theramore, and Horde Kirin Tor mages helped smuggle the Pandaria artifact out of Darnassus, she's had it in for the Horde big time. She holds the Horde responsible for the loss of everyone and everything she's ever loved. And again... after she just stalked off the stage in the aftermath of Varian's funeral, she has to make a reappearance somewhere. Where's she been? What's she been up to?

There's a surprisingly valid case that her mind and spirit just broke, and she's ready to help Sargeras destroy all of Azeroth just to get rid of the Horde.

If she allows herself to become vessel for the spirit of Sargeras... watch out.
