I'm still calling the main story arc even if it's meant to be "secret" at launch. Old gods are trying to corrupt the last living titan soul that we know of to make a dark void titan. That was the void lords main plan after all when they seeded the universe with them, and was the reason Sargeras went crazy hulk mode. He wasn't just trying to kill the light his main goal was to get rid of the void.

Of course they can. The WoW expansion won't just be called or explicitly pirate themed.

At this point one of two things is most likely: the gist of the expansion is already out there, because it's predictable, or it's totally out of left field and even if it does still get details leaked ppl won't believe it.
