Honestly? I kinda hope Sylvanas becomes the Lich Queen as a -REDEMPTION- arc, rather than as a major villain we have to kill.
She takes up the mantle and controls the Scourge as a way to achieve personal immortality and defend her limited people's lives by using mindless undead for military actions rather than risking the Forsaken. No more plague or making more undead, just using the massive force of the Scourge to fight the battles of the Forsaken.
Maybe have the Forsaken take control over units and direct them, rather than her doing it entirely on her own?
But yeah... Have her be the only one who can -actually- contain the Scourge without turning evil with Yog and Ner'zhul whispering in her ears unlike Arthas or Bolvar.
... it would be pretty cool.

They have slowly been rolling out faction leader models over many years. I remember when Sylvanas first got hers. They've gotten around to Sylvanas, Thrall, Velen, Garrosh, Varian, Magni, Tyrande, Greymane, Vol'jin and now Gallywix. Oh, and "kind of" Lor'themar (Still a basic model isn't it, just a bit more dressed up?) Still got Mekkatorque and Baine to go!
Garrosh was used untill he became a raid boss.
