I'm really late on this, but hopefully others have noticed that the Red vs Blue thing they are pushing is making the theme of the expansion purple to hint at void themeing.

Seething shore is the new BG. An undiscovered island off of Feralas.

it's on a bay in between silithus and feralas, ripe for azerite.

Seems to be an island west from Kalimdor.

TBH, easiest way to add the BG near Silithus without feeling strange that the geography just appeared on there.

Think they missed the opportunity to use fancy skyboxes in that BG for the sword, since the main issue of those skyboxes is flying which isn't allowed in BGs anyways.

It looks like regular rock, so probably either the sword impact caused it to jut out, or the welling up of azerite did.

Ogre pillars probably aren't placeholder, it's already shown on the map to have ogre ruins, plus feralas has ogres.
