Alpha/Beta is pretty interchangeable with Blizz anymore. If I recall they haven't done a real FnF Alpha for the last 2 expacs (even WoD's had plenty of regular players in the first wave and there was no NDA) and I doubt that will change with BFA.

Didn't Blizz drop a "soon" for Legion and then we sat around for 3 months? I seem to remember that.

Anyway that dev post was pretty bare-bones. Expected at least something about the specs they said at Blizzcon are targetted for a larger rework, even if it was just reiterating that fact.
