Yeah that's not true at all. They still definitely email out that you've been invited. I have my emailed invites for the last several Alphas, Legion included.

And regardless, it's still untrue, I got my email for Legion alpha the day my account was flagged, and the day Alpha went live, all on 11/23/15(got email within an hour of Alpha launch). So really, your point is incorrect, and anyone checking their email is not wasting their time.

I've been part of most alpha's and all beta's and for the last couple I got my email a few weeks later soo.. I just look at my bnet client.

I mean, that's acceptable. And if I were home, I'd probably do that too. But for all my alphas/betas(been in most), I got email verification the day of the launch for first wave/initial wave. So there is hope for those checking their emails, especially if stuck at work.

What he said isn't entirely untrue. Blizzard has a long history of sending emails hours or days after the flagging process has happened.
You will get your emails, but it's not worth checking over your actual client because it'll likely be a significantly better indicator.

I think the issue is, a good chunk of people are at work and can't check clients/account management(depending on firewalls) when invites typically go out, thus they check their email. What he was trying to say is it's pointless to do that because as he said first, they don't send out emails, and then later said they send them much much later. But again, from my personal history, I've found both of those to be false, as my emails have come almost as soon as Alpha/Beta launches.

Regardless, good luck to all on getting your invites when they go out.
