For the whole time I thought you were talking about Jaina.... since we often misspell her as Jaime.

Not a meme. Just a response.

Being styled doesn't make one less masculine, or dangerous. Jaime Lannister, disgusting as he and his family are, is an example of that. Pretty, polished, styled up, but still manly and deadly with a sword.

It's not the "Rugged Lumberjack" style of masculinity, just a different brand of it.

There's this big wiiiiiide spectrum of masculinity that gets ignored. Particularly when it's got overlapping traits with femininity (the aforementioned vanity which is mostly ascribed to women rather than men). The neckbeard lardbody wearing his trilby and droppin' m'lady like it's twenties in a strip club is also performing masculinity: Just not the same style. There's nothing feminine about -that- guy, and even if it's not "Idealized"maleness, it's definitely masculine.

Belves aren't rugged hatchetfaced warriors, but they do fit a classical masculine archetype in the Fighting Noble. Characters like Robin Hood, Prince Dalton, even a lot of Superheroes with lithe builds rather than broad-chested Hulk bodies like Nightcrawler or Gambit. They all provide the same sort of masculine fantasy that's strong -and- handsome to be more attractive to the women around him than the other heroes who are strong but not also handsome.

Maybe that's the thing, though. Talking about idealized masculinity versus the gamut of masculine archetypes? Things that are associately with maleness that are almost always viewed as a positive?

No, nothing coming from sandbox should be seen as trustworthy evidence. Stuff like that is easily editable.

Yes, you could force any class/race combo for a long time, thing it was also done with the legion alpha files.

He just grabbed those screenshots from the WoWHead post. While accurate, it's just a regular blood elf model with all geosets (3D pieces) enabled.

Yeah we saw it before hence our speculation on Void elves being High Elves "touched" by the void!

The void elf models have already been seen and aren't new, they're just missing textures.
