It would be kind of weird to add them in some other expansion where both are not as relevant. Not that I would be against it, I just find it unlikely.

I wouldn't bother to wait if they would add the classes in the right way. Like giving more personal and characteristic animations, spell names and icons fitting the "faithful of the Loa" theme for Zandalari Paladins and a more "Dark/Twilight" vibe for Dark Iron Shamans.

I was thinking the other day how interesting it would be to actually have quests for the Allied Races to gain additional classes once you unlock them/as a reward for hitting 110 with them.

For instance: Unlock Zandalari Trolls and Level one to 110 and you unlock an extensive questline that involves the reincarnation of Rezan and restoring the power of the light to the Prelates which then unlocks Paladins for the Zandalari. Obviously other details would be involved, like do you NEED to level a Zandalari to 110, or would it just be a questline that unlocks specifically for Zandalari characters once you unlock them (so you could race change/boost or level one to get the questline). Or would it just be a questline that unlocks after unlocking Zandalari and you can do it as any race/class etc. I miss unique class specific questlines like we used to have.

Horde is never getting paladins again.
Alliance is never getting shaman again.

They will continue to push the agenda.
My hope died when that petty questline showed up.

I just don't think we'll get the "iconic"(sic Blizzard) classes for new races during the supposedly "Horde vs. Alliance" expansion. Even if i find that overly petty and not really fitting, like they have to bend over backwards to explain Zandalari not having Paladins... which ultimately makes no sense, since they should still be able to call on the Light without Rezan, provided they kept their Faith/Willpower.

We have to respect the roots of the Warcraft franchise.
    Orcs vs humans
Led by an undead high elf and a teenger with a werewolf companion

Which makes me wonder, what would be the excuse to not give the Shaman class to Dark Iron?

    Eighteen.
    Teen.

18 years olds are adults. And 12 year olds are teens.

Because English is a quagmire of foolishness and society doesn't play by a grammarian's handbook.

Which just means there's an overlap between teen and adult. Not that eighteen year olds aren't teens.

Besides, some places you aren't adult until 21.

  19. #73839
Okay, I understand that for many people you're still a teen if there is the word "teen" in your age, but that's not how it works elsewhere. In many European countries, at age 18+ you're an adult, not an teenager.

That being said can we talk about something different than Manduin/Teenduin? Like those coats linked a few pages back, or allied races, or whatever focuses more on BfA.

In others you're an adult at 12.

Again, English is a quagmire of foolishness!

Ultimately, "Teen" is something we came up with in modern times (The first real use in the modern sense popped up in the 1920s) as a way to invent a new class of people between Child and Adult because in the early 1900s people started pushing back against Child Labor. "They're not children! They're teens!" helped push things back 'til the late 30s...

As of the 80s, "Teen" became a way for adults to derogate while children, silly adorable little children, would look up to "Teens" because an invisible barrier was created that showed them a range of years equal to their entire previous existence between kid and adult where they'd get more freedoms without taking on full adult responsibilities.

It's accurate, but ultimately unfair, to call Anduin a Teen. Because while it may be mathematically pr grammatically correct, it's pointless derogation since he's got the full responsibilities of an adult and is an adult within the society presented (and the majority of societies that exist in the modern world)
When you are accustomed to privilege, equality feels like injustice.
