I'm not sure when MM was ever a "complex thing". It has a rotation centered around damage windows, but once you understand that it's not actually terribly hard to play at all. Try Feral Druid.

You still have to time them, but ever since the debuff was increased to 7 seconds from 6 seconds, it's somewhat difficult to mess it up. It's also far less important than it has been before, because AiS will actually deal damage now even without a debuff and the debuff got nerfed instead.

However, it's obviously still important that you do it properly.

It's easier to not mess up your vulnerable window and even if you do just once you can be less anal about it. It's all about your Trueshot windows now.
