Excellent, new thread
Going to be VERY interesting this year what Harbaugh can do with the roster he has. This is basically his first year with his own recruits starting to get into leadership roles and starter roles.
Michigan lost a LOT of people on defense, and like Pendulous mentioned we start against Florida on a neutral site to start the season so there's basically no time to work people in to their new roles, they have to be ready from the very start.
On offense there's a QB battle between last year's starter (Speight) and last year's back up (O'Korn) but from what I have been hearing it's probably Speight's job to lose.
Personally hoping that continuity at QB and on some offensive positions will help off set a defense that might need to get it's footing. I don't expect a serious run at a national championship, but it would be damn nice if Harbaugh can get the monkey off his back with regards to playing Ohio State. We should have won last year, at home, and the task is now only going to be harder, with defensive turnover and an away game.
If he can get the team ready for that match up and perform well (and hopefully win) and make another good bowl game, that would be a successful season to me.
