    Do you like BBC?

BBC has been around a very long time, here in the states we have BBC America, their news is pretty good, I like their reporting, most of which I hear BBC World News when I am on the radio on NPR

How many BBC's does the British Broadcasting Channel have in the U.K and how do you tell one apart from the other, are there any alternatives in the U.K, anybody from the U.K know.

How does the U.K feel about BBC, and why do you have to pay for a TV license?

The BBC is a paedophile clubhouse and a massive drain on public money.

We should scrap the TV license fee, it's a total waste.

There was a very tall, very buff African American at our workplace I was good friends with. When we were talking about TV shows, BBC came up. I immediately turned to him and said "FYI, They mean the British Broadcasting Corporation".

Everybody around us just died laughing! :P

Taking away government funding would mean your media landscape would resemble that of the US, add filled and an echo chamber of no longer news reporting but feel good news that can be at times fake that no longer would challenge your views, what is a terrible way to be informed.

Since add money, company money would define what kind of news you get to see, what kind of content.

As for pedophiles go, you'll find that sadly and even disgustingly the last decades these people have found a lot of protection in several circles. However that has ended and if believe even the BBC reporting on how their formers did wrong.

BBC is okay but here in the US PBS makes more sense because it's US based.

Yeah, I agree, I love his comedic style that is both biting but surreal, I think Sacha turns it up a few notches because of our time, but Rowan, his facial expressions are priceless as expressing a ride range of emotions

Yeah, I read the title and thought something else entirely. OP might want to change the title to BBC Broadcasting.

Yeah their reporting is first rate, but the mandatory fee would probably not go over well here in the States.

Rowan Atkinson has done a lot of work with the BBC but Mr Bean was an ITV production. If you like Rowan Atkinson then I recommend, if you have not already seen it, Blackadder, in particular the second and fourth series.

No we have nothing but BBC 1 and BBC 2 in the UK, no other channels at all.
