older crafted gear (including darkmoon cards) cant be upgraded. Im guessing they wont be changing that.

Nope. DMD and previous legion crafting are limited to ilv 900. Only the new Argus recipes can be upgraded to the new cap using Primal Obliterium however given the limited items craftable, it doesn't seem to be a good investment currently. Originally Posted by sosleapy

JC's have a helm they can make for each armor class
Blacksmiths can make a chest piece (plate)
Leatherworkers can make a shoulder piece (1 leather version, 1 mail version)
Tailors can make a legging (cloth)
All four are tier slots so even if it were cheap to make 935 versions, you're depriving yourself of a tier slot AND don't forget that there are plenty of legendaries in game that take up a tier slot.
Alchemy has a new alchemist stone that can also be made then upgraded to 935 but the value of this trinket seems to be quite low compared to existing trinkets and upcoming trinkets in Antorus.Last edited by Alroxas; 2017-09-11 at 05:13 PM.

But I paid 50k gold for this tank trinket. Doesn't Blizz know that I deserve to upgrade it to 935?

Maybe they will in the future. It's an issue now cause 935 is too strong to have in every slot. But maybe when Antorus comes out they will change it. Or maybe a patch farther down the line.
