So has anyone seen the trailer for Tucker Carlson's documentary, use the word very loosely, "The End of Men" about how low testosterone is causing the downfall of men in the West. Well the trailer is something to behold because my god is the trailer the most homoerotic thing you have ever seen. Directors of gay porno's are taking notes on how to up their porno game watching this trailer. Nothing but shirtless men wrestling, chopping wood, guzzling down raw eggs and for some strange reason naked men sticking their dicks into boxes of lights.

    Yes.

George Takei posted it, with the review -- I am not making this up -- "This is so gay".

I'm no environmental chemist, but isn't it far more likely that things like unfettered pollution and lax regulations on the disposal of various chemicals are far more likely the cause of low testosterone than... what I can only imagine is Carlson's conclusion that men have "gone soft" because women and minorities are comparatively less oppressed than in the past and so therefore now have lower testosterone or some similar bullshit.

Reminds me of non-german speakers finding out what the Rammstein song 'mann gegen mann' is actually about.

"Manly, so very manly... oh my god its gay porn".
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

huh. I would have thought that the spectacular embarrassment of the Russian army (months after declaring them to be super alpha and strong because their propaganda video didn't have women and gays in it like ours did) might make them rethink this particular narrative. But maybe they'd already sunk too much time and money into this to just abandon it like that.

Here's your problem, you value intellectual consistency, they don't.

JD Vance, current Republican Senate candidate in Ohio, giving up the game that the Republican party platform has been built on antagonizing minority/Black voters for decades. Back in 2016, before he was running, of course.

Reminder, this was his latest campaign ad -

Amusing he says "The media calls us racist." when it seems like he's done a good job of calling himself and his party racist, in the past.

I thought when they first started releasing these studies in the early 2000s, they had linked it to the increasing obesity rates

When your party's head runs on "there will be a taco truck on every corner" as a scare line in a speech, no, its not the media's fault you're being called racist
"Law and Order", lots of places have had that, Russia, North Korea, Saddam's Iraq.
Laws can be made to enforce order of cruelty and brutality.
Equality and Justice, that is how you have peace and a society that benefits all.

Mostly health issues thanks to lack of exercise and obesity due to sedentary life styles. Of course Carlson won't talk about that, but instead likely say it's the gay/trans/women's fault and we should go back to the 50s when men were men and men were allowed to do certain "things" that he won't specify, but instead allude to.

Don’t know anything about JD Vance or his campaign so don’t take this as any kind of support or disapproval, but does the fact that his predictions about Trump in 2016 were wrong color this comparison? Could just say the guy looked at the writing on the wall and changed his opinion.

America also puts a lot of shockingly bad stuff in food.
Stuffing everything full of high fructose corn syrup is going to cause obesity even without a lack of exercise or sedentary life style.

You are mostly correct. Being obese makes your testosterone levels go down. The study in the early aughts identified that there was a relationship between the two, but did not definitively identify the presence or direction of the causal link. The 2017 study is the one that identified which direction the relationship was effected.

So let's check in on CyberTrump 2077.

Trump: still just the one post.

Melania: Ten posts. Four of which are advertising the NFT thing. The most recent was a month ago.

Ivanka: Oddly enough, there's a few of "her".

One named @IvankasMouth hasn’t posted but has a photo of Trump and Stormy Daniels as the header image; @IvankaTrumpYou has two posts mocking Ivanka’s Goya Beans photo (“My Dad still feeds me Goya beans before bed #MakeAmericaGreatAgain;” “God damn I fucking love Goya beans.”); the entire @ivankatrump69 timeline consists of anti-Trump content (sharing a photoshopped image of Trump as a toddler riding on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s shoulders, a parody of the Trump campaign logo that says “TRUMP LOST: FUCK YOUR FEELINGS,” etc.) and complaints about some posts being removed; @ivankasunderpants has no posts, only a bio that states the account is “Just here to check out Pravda and all the Trump foamers.”
There doesn't seem to be a real one. I mean, I won't rule out the beans one, but it seems out of character. Side note: I thought accounts like that would have been banned and burned? Didn't the rules about Trump's no-censorship social media say he would censor those?

Eric and Donald continue to post, probably trying to get some sign of acceptance from their father. Considering Trump hasn't posted, therefore he hasn't replied to or liked any of them. I would say that's sign enough.

    "So it's full of trolls?"

No. See, unlike these forums, which have tons of trolls, CyberTrump 2077 does not...because there's nobody there. Trolling is designed to draw out responses by posting things that are false, provocative, stupid, or all three. Things like "can't define what a woman is". But there's no responses to get from Trump's social media platform. There's nobody there.

PMs do not work. You're directed to a "coming soon!" tab.

Of the top 10 suggested people/groups to follow, FOX News is 4th and Breitbart is 7th.

"Wait, wasn't the FOX News one fake?"

    Yes.

    FOX Sports is 10th --

"Wait, is that one fake, too?"

Apparently. Eric is 11th. Yep, Eric Trump who uses the site lost to two fake accounts. He did, however, beat @HotchicksGolfing.

Most importantly perhaps, is that there is little to no exclusive content. Trump himself doesn't post, but Liz Harrington his spokesperson does...the same thing to Twitter. Trump is giving every possible sign that even he does not want his own project. DWAC is down in pre-market futures. It's mid-April and the late-March deadline is now old enough to have two tier pieces.

The whole thing is a giant fat fucking orange failure. So is his social media site.

Alex Jones' InfoWars files for bankruptcy in U.S. court

Convicts in the US do get paid, some of the jobs even have stipends like cooks. And they do have a choice, they can do nothing or they can work, it isn't forced on them.

On its face, this is good news. I strongly suspect Alex Jones is following his Orange God and declaring bankruptcy on his business to attempt to avoid paying any of his own money. I also suspect it won't work.

Now surely @cubby will weigh in with actual expert info, but until then, what we all know about bankruptcy is that you don't do it on a whim. Jones made an offer, it was called a lowball and refused, then he did this -- most likely because he believes a fair and honest damages finding will be more than he wants to pay. As we also all know, bankruptcy isn't an everything-proof shield. It means you give up control of everything in your business, and let someone the judge picks for you hand out what you have to the people they think deserve it the most, while you sit around and watch. If the only way to resolve the matter is to sell off all your worldly goods from under you, the bankruptcy overseer can do exactly that, while your complaints are directed to a brick wall.

Now, Jones claimed in court he was worth $50,000 and owes millions, to make this bankruptcy happen. I...think there's a good chance he's lying. Yes I know, lying in court documents is a fucking stupid idea. But considering there's been no findings of damages yet (the offer was made March 22) those liabilities shouldn't include those damages? I think?

I could be wrong, easily. Jones could be giving up and crying into his single scoop of ice cream, knowing for a fact he's lost and will pay out more than the 13x$120,000 that was already refused, with no realistic chance of appeal. I don't think that's how it works...but I'm not a lawyer.

If I'm right, that means he was already seven or eight figures in the hole. Yes, legal fees could do that, but then we get into "why would anyone defend Alex Jones for money he didn't have?" And of course, we've all heard of Infowars. We know it exists. That means he should be getting decent revenue. But he's claiming to have $0 to $50,000 in assets. I have more than that, and I'm a public school teacher.

And also, if I'm right, the question is then raised "why didn't he say something before?" Which is why I'm suspicious. If Jones was really digging his way out of a hole, saying "Your Honor I can't pay anything at all" should have been brought up at least November. He didn't, so either the bankruptcy is based on assumed heavy damage payments, or he's desperate and willing to take bankruptcy over the judgement, and lying to make that happen.

So let's talk about Alex Jones.

    He's fucked.

Work for pennies per hour or spend all your time in isolation with free random guard administered beatings isn't much of a damn choice.

They can be paid, they can have a choice, but forced labor for zero pay is completely Constitutionally protected, so long as the subjects a convict. The 13th Amendment is crystal clear on this.
