So you are saying we should blame the manufacturer of knives for how people choose to use them.

If the manufactor writes stuff on them to animate people to kill with it yes....

Weakauras has been updated in the past to deal with some abuses, particularly mailing.

And its still because of weakaura that this step was taken (very badly...)

I regularly used /camp to logout.

if that would be the case you would have noticed that:
Q:Has anyone else noticed an error when you /camp if you have an addon with a SlashCmdList loaded?
A:Yes. They forgot to add the slash handlers for logout and quit to the secure command hash table.
The table is populated with all the existing SecureCmdList functions, but logout and quit are declared afterwards with the rest of the unprotected functions.

I would argue this analogy does not work here. In this case, the knife has a small portion of the dull edge sharpened near the handle, occasionally cutting users trying to correctly use the knife. So yes, in this case, you blame the manufacturer.
