Pretty much. Mueller not filing any further indictments on his end does NOT = "No collusion!" It means that they did not find evidence beyond a shadow of a doubt to charge Trump. And since "collusion" is not a crime in and of itself, but rather election tampering with intent on Trump's part to encourage Russians to do it, they simply didn't find the evidence that Trump himself conspired with Russian assets to sway the election. It is factually known that the Russian intelligence agencies interfered in the election in key swing states under the eyes of people like flynn and manafort.

"No collusion!" is one of those things that's technically true at first glance, but even then it might not even be true at all. This does not exonerate Trump from the numerous things he's under investigation for. As pointed out before, Trump is the subject of 20 separate investigations by various state law enforcement departments. Even if Trump didn't go to Russian agents and go "Hey buddy, help me win the election!" We know about Russia's interference in the election, along with all of the other people who we got guilty pleas out of who worked for Trump who went to Russian agents in connection with Fusion GPS and Cambridge Analytica. So basically everyone beneath Trump got caught, Trump apparently managed to create distance between him and Russian assets.

Meanwhile, obstruction of justice, money laundering, tax fraud, emoluments clause, and other investigations into Trump's crimes are still on going.

Oh have you read the Mueller report? Also you believe Barr read thousands of pages over 16 hours and could only muster up a four page summary? You can tell how deluded conservatives are when they are accepting this at face value, and not as another political maneuver that Barr has made for a Republican president before.

Trump could have been caught on video being pissed on by Putin while calling out the nuke codes, and Mueller could not have Trump indicted.

This would be a massive mistake.

A blatantly political redaction would be almost immediately discovered and mandate testimony by Mueller. I know the rabid fanbase is working under the false belief of "total exonoration" but for the actual people whose opinion matters, they would be better off with "there wasn't enough evidence" than "here is the half that says what we didn't find and you can't see the other half nope".

2019 is a very bad year to delay a problem.

I don't believe there was collusion, it's still uncertain. Considering the language used by both Mueller and Barr, anyone who absolutely believes there was definitely no collusion whatsoever is the same as a flat earther conspiracy theorist.

Understandable. Both of his points are valid. He said what I said in one of my last posts - it was a horrific choice on Mueller's part not to make a direct recommendation on obstruction. Above all else, that was what he was charged to do: to come to a conclusion not part of the political process. Politicians could argue about what to do with his recommendation, but politicians should not be the ones who decide what is and is not a chargable crime.

Second, Barr's decision on it is pure nonsense. Obstruction is a crime regardless of anything else, because it must be to preserve justice. Even Clinton probably should have been found guilty of it.
