I noticed this on my phone and PC. What do you think about it? Notice the improvements yet?

it broke some of the addons i really need, like roomy bookmarks - and some addon developers are not willing to update or say it can't be made to work with new firefox.

Also a lot of the new UI buttons seem unnecessary and intrusive but there currently isn't an easy way to remove them, unless you go editing firefox files (the little "customize" panel does not cover all the options needed).

Tried it on my work laptop and it's great. The only issue I have is that almost everything I use at home is integrated with Google products.

I downloaded and tried it after your post and I don't know. It doesn't seem faster than Chrome.
I also have a low end computer that is lagging since I mine cryptocurrency (it's running 7 video cards). It just seems to be the same as Chrome, maybe a bit better looking. I can think of using it if there's a really good Adblock addon for it.

Anyway, tried the new browser on Mobile, it's no different than before for me aside from interface and "night mode".

I'll have to try the night mode feature.

It's faster but I can't seem to get spell check to work. I installed the US dictionary. It's arch linux so maybe it's just broke.

Crypto miners rigs use the cheapest cpu / ram /mobo they can get since 100% of the work is done by the GPU. You just need enough to boot into an OS.

SO far no complaints except I'm having a hard time finding a way to customize colors...really prefer my buttons be something besides a light lavender color.

Its a lot faster than Chrome and less intrusive. Google mines your data more than anyone else.

I'm really sad that it broke two of my favourite plugins (Roomy bookmarks and Morning Coffee) but I have had zero crashes and hangs since updating, which was something I seriously had all the fucking time before, so I'm glad about that at least.

facebook still acts weird in firefox...but its smoother now.

I'm still getting little micro lags when typing on facebook. Dunno if it's facebook or FF doing it, but it's fucking annoying as hell.

Looks good, will try it out some more. I've got some problems with chrome lately - it starts to become extreme laggy after browsing youtube and other sites. I guess it's some plugin but was too lazy to figure the problem out... Whatever, it's good to have alternatives available.

I... guess it's faster? But I would not notice a difference without being told. Fast is fast.

It deleted my Stylish addon settings. Custom CSS obliterated without backup.

I've been using Firefox for years now, but Quantum made me switch to Chrome.
It's so disgustingly slow it's not even funny.
