Genuine Experience Means Just What?

I have always imagined a genuine Vanilla experience to be just that .. Meaning, on launch date it would be WoW 1.0 so my WoW-V journey would be almost identical to the original game. Now, I say 'almost' because WoW had some really 'bad' stuff at start that got quickly fixed.

So, I'd like to have the opportunity to relive (or for some experience for the very first time) WoW 1.0 with the good, bad and ugly EVEN if for a short time period. So like a pre Vanilla launch of sorts.

What is concerning to me it seems everyone is talking about launching WoW 1.xx and then TIME FREEZING it at that chosen patch .. How is that a journey?

I would not in any way or form want WoW-V to ever reach pre TBC patch BUT stop (journey wise) at the last patch that still allowed reaching R14 .. Whatever that was?

What does a 'genuine' WoW-V experience look and feel like FOR YOU?
