a hypothetical worst case scenario is in no way an argument for any kind of gun control. This is an inflated non issue. The world is fucked up, people are fucked up, learn to protect yourself, gain some situational awareness and do what you can. know that if it's your time, there's nothing you can do about it. hope for the best, prepare for the worst. and dont live in chicago slums.
gun deaths in 2015 - roughly 30,000. US population. 340 million. that equals .0001 PERCENT of the population. 65% of those killed are suicides or justified killings by police in the line of duty. The rest are accidents or murders in high crime cities where gun control is strongest, like Los Angeles, Chicago, Baltimore. This is literally a non issue. Aside from that, you can 3D print ABS handguns and AR lowers with no serial numbers. Gun control is a myth. stop fucking talking about it.
You don't measure crime rate by total number of crime, you measure by crime per 1000/10k/100k. Like here:

He's a hero because his risk paid off, but let's not pretend that that was a pretty dumb risk to take. If it went any other way, we would be calling him an idiot.
