Mafia 96 Game Thread - Viva Las Vegas!

General Rules

If the signed up players don't know what this means then I'm concerned....

Voting:

During the day phase, each player can place their vote on any player of choice. To do so, simply put the following in bold on a separate line:

vote: Kryllian

You can change your vote as many times you want, and you can remove your vote using

unvote

Unvoting is required or I will not count you changing your vote!

You can also vote for a no-lynch. This works like this.

vote: no-lynch

If "no-lynch" is the winning option, then no player will be lynched that day phase.

Lynching:

The moment any player (or "no-lynch") reaches the lynch threshold (half the players rounded down, plus one), the day ends. No more votes are counted. After that, "dusk" begins, during which you are allowed to talk as much as you want but votes are meaningless. Items used and posts made during this time will count toward the final day net posts per person. Dusk lasts until the gameday is formally ended by a moderator, at which point it is night.

If no player is lynched by the end of day, then mod majority will come into play and anyone who has at least half the cast votes plus one will be lynched.

Special Game Rules/Considerations

There are both Day and Night actions in play! Roles may have multiple abilities!

The casino is broken into several sections. At any given time your character will be in one of these areas either assigned for a time or at your choosing. The areas are:

Casino Floor- People Watching, Gambling, Drinking, Etc.
Hotel Rooms - Cleaning up, Relaxing, and Sleeping
Bar - People Watching/Drinking
Pool - Suntanning, Swimming, and Relaxing
Restaurant - Eating and Drinking
Theater - Watching a show

One hour in "game time" is equal to 3 hours in real time. So if your role card refers to being someone for an hour you will be there for 3 real hours. Day will be 48 hours which translates to 16 hours of "game time". Night is 24 hours which translates to 8 hours of "game time". Only notifications in your QT that you are moving to an new are of the casino will be tracked.

Please post in your QT your planned schedule (as an example).

Hour 2 to 4 - Pool
Hour 5 - Bar
Hour 6 to 10 Casino Floor
Hour 11 to 16 - Pool

mmm, I don't see anything where he'd need to be up all night. The schedule is 2 "8 hour" days, so he'd still be active during the 2nd "day" (or last half of Day 1).

too early to speculate on anything else, given both sides would have very good reasons for wanting their activity being on the last half of the Day vs the 1st half.

If he is sleeping half of the day phase, I'm assuming he does something during the night phase. Since most people need 8 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period to be functional.
