Red face First Lady Melania decorates the White House for Christmas

Lady Melanias sense of aesthetics are absolutely top notch. So glad this christian tradition is respected in such a beautiful way.

Honestly, it's very beautiful. I'm sure some folks' politics will get in the way of their ability to fairly judge it though.

They should get a Festivus pole.

Also it looks amazing. Though I'm sure some people will come in and complain that it's mixing religion with politics again. It's sad that people can't just appreciate how nice it looks.

It's department store chic. As in, if you want your house to look like a department store, in the style of secular buy-a-lot-of-stuff-at-Macy's Christmas, it's a home run.

This one looks a little creepy though. You just know the Grady twins are waiting for you at the other end.

I forget Christmas is still viewed as religious in America - A little too many trees for my liking but I am more a traditional red & green

That's both creepy and awe-striking at the same time.

    That is really pretty!

She and her assistants have good taste.

Fixed that for you. I bet they get paid nothing, though.

Still looks good, can't deny that.

While I doubt Melania herself had much to do with it beyond telling a designer what look she was going for, it's still very nice.

Pretty sure the WH has a budget for this stuff. I know previous presidents have. Goes back to at least Mary Todd Lincoln overspending the WH budget, rofl.

Well, it could be argued that it is just a national holiday now and not just religious.

I dont really see the issue given that context
