I know it's probably shallow and materialistic to talk about presents, but I just enjoy the tradition. I'm working on being a better gift giver this year, too.
GIVE:
Mom- Cuisinart 14-piece nonstick aluminum cookware set I found at JCPenney- caught it during a Cyber Week sale for $125. Our old Member's Mark set from Sam's Club is beat to holy hell and it's starting to stick.
Stepdad- Not sure yet. He's not too fond of Christmas for some reason, so probably some new jeans or some country music cassettes to listen to during his lunch break at work. Mom got him new sweatshirts for work- he works in a poultry processing plant and they keep it cold on the production floor.
Guy at work- SNES Classic. Honestly, I bought it for myself at first but I realized it was a dumbass idea since I have almost all of those games on it. But I saw no point in returning it when I could give it to someone who really wanted one- he absolutely loves it, says he feels like a kid again.
GET:
I know my mom got me some nice pajama pants this year. I'm 25 so I don't ask for much if anything- I usually get it for myself. Got Super Mario Odyssey and a crate o' games- 24 of them- from Gamestop that was around $222- been switching my PC library back to console and I got the rest of the PC>PS3 stuff with this order, with Wario Land 4 and Super Paper Mario in there for good measure.
