    Except twitch's guidelines specifically state
    Inappropriate Broadcaster Behavior and Attire
Nudity and conduct involving overtly sexual behavior and/or attire are prohibited.
    Link

And that's been around since before Twitch had an IRL section after they had to crackdown on both male streamers (not wearing a shirt whilst streaming) and female streamers (visibly undressing to their skivvies because they needed to "change" and "forgot" they were streaming or wearing extremely revealing clothing) a couple of years ago. The thing is Twitch has gotten lax on policing it's own policy and has been in some cases extremely lenient in their punishments causing some to question why.

I wouldn't say it's strictly nudity, it's obvious baiting for viewers through their physical attributes: so besides evident exaggerate cleavage, it's mini shorts, or skirts, getting up and going to their donators white boards or whatever, bending over and putting out their arses to the camera.

It's pretty evident what they're doing. There's plenty of TwitchFails vids on youtube where such cases are shown.

There's a lot more overlap between the "free speech/snowflake/it's just a word why can't I say it" crowd and the "force these women to stop showin cleavage" crowd than it'd seem like at first glance

Guy calls them out on their bullshit and says that twitch is going to shit because of them. Gets banned for 5 days. Girl is caught pretending to masturbate. Gets banned for 1 day. I don't think they care to be honest.

I suppose that makes sense, to a degree. Seems about as creepy as the comments, though. Maybe they're gluttons for punishment or something. One of the most torturous things in life is sitting around listening to a women prattle on about her drama.

    Perhaps. Seems creepy.

Why is it hard? A real gamer plays the game and competes with others while "cam girls" are there just to show and play casual. This are two different areas, hence why many "cam girls" stream on IRL and not on CS:GO.

Overall I have zero issues with "cam girls". It's a free world, each can play and show what they want, assuming it's age restricted if sexual content is involved, as madated by law. I find it funny how SJW puritans want to regulate "cam girls" that barely show anything (else they would totally get banned on Twitch for showing anything sexual). Guys will look at girls with big boobs, end of story.

To be honest, they should shutdown the IRL section... Just... weird, haha. And yes, Twitch should shut down sexual content streams if they don't permit it.

Straight guy here, and yes I think it's over the line.
It seems pretty clear the majority of viewers for these women are children or young teens. If Twitch wants to shift their platform to being adult/sex friendly, then they need to shift AWAY from being kid friendly. You can't have both, this should be obvious by now.

Consider the fact that these women are making money by sexualizing themselves for CHILDREN. If even just 25% of their viewers are children, they're blurring the lines way too close between entertainer and sex offender. I imagine if the scenario were reversed and it was male entertainers sexualizing themselves for 12 year old girls, Chris Hansen would be knocking on the door asking them to have a seat right over there.

call them out on what bullshit exactly? I genuinely don't understand the problem unless you're a puritan who wants women to cover ankles and all

"Overtly sexual attire" is pretty subjective, and that's the only rule any of these streamers are close to potentially breaking, so unless they're wearing nothing more than pasties and a g-string, they're not likely to cross that line as far as Twitch is concerned. Doesn't seem like a problem to me. If there is a demand for these streams, more power to them.

I think the core issue is that people considered Twitch as "that place where we watch streamers play game X", but now it changed since the IRL section. It's ok, it's a normal change. Same as people that were on the old Youtube were used to seing personal amateur videos and then all of the suden mainstream media came in and posted news articles, late night shows, etc changing the enviroment.

If I were Twitch I would just partner with Pornhub and do a joint venture a place to host all the xxx cam girls. Imagine if it became the no. 1 such website...there is no shame from a business PoV to expand to new demographics and clients.

Not at all. But then you immediately followed with:
...I don’t care what the hell they do on their stream, or how sexy they act/dress.

Honestly, all I hear now is “I’m a desperate guy who can’t control my actions, so you need to remove these women for my sake!”.
So I was pointing out that they're already explicitly breaking the rules by acting/dressing sexily and that there's more to this than "desperate men" wanting to remove female streamers. Plus considering how a couple of years back when they sweepingly handed out timed bans for any streamer who had been streaming partially nude, full on topless or being overtly sexual kinda suggests what they precedent was. But now they're clearly being extremely forgiving to those that have repeatedly broke the guidelines and in fact have banned streamers discussing the issue longer than the actual streamers breaking the rules.

That's wildly presumptive. They're making money by sexualizing themselves, sure, but that's for anyone willing and wanting to watch, just like many, many, many other huge media figures across the entertainment industry. Sex sells. That's a tried and true market fact. If that bothers you, blame the audience that supports it.

They probs make more money than the hoes on chaturbate and they dont even need to get naked. Makes sense to use twitch

  16. #36
Either fully embrace it as a streaming website that includes sexual camgirls, or start policing it.
    Can't have it both ways.

Why? Twitch is advertising itself as Family Friendly... If they want tits too they need Parental Control like YouTube

Which would what a general rule fix, wouldn't? I mean, these girls/women are taking advantage of the fact that the audience is mainly male by capitalizing on their physical traits.

If a dude were to walk around in tight shorts or boxers revealing the contours of his dick or be shirtless, he'd get banned.
