It's that, and I also feel it is partly creating unfair competition.

If we are to assume that the majority (by whatever margin) of viewers on twitch are male, who do you think most men would want to watch stream their favorite game? A guy, or a girl with her breasts mostly exposed? Men don't have any way to draw in other men aside from their content. Women can have the same quality of content, but add breasts, and they will get more viewers than the men do.

It doesn't really matter what they're doing. They could be playing with Hotwheels for all I care. I don't understand why you're bothered with what somebody else is watching. You can always watch whatever you want to watch.

My point being.. I understand it is "trash" content, but some people enjoy watching it and as long as people enjoy whatever it is they're watching and as long as you're not forced to watch what you don't want to, everything is fine.

The IRL and affiliate programs legitimised this kind of content. I don't particularly care either way about the validity of it on the platform, but you can't really handwave the concerns of different rules for different streamers. This kind of thing tends to happen naturally as big money makers are protected to a degree, but they also tend to be held to a different professional standard through their contracts. This is a monetary incentive to follow the site rules and guidelines. Clearly some streams are allowed to break the site rules, and their contracts by extension, with no or minimal punishment. It is the blatant inconsistency that is concerning.

You do know that is a problem between Twitch and the advertisers!? If there are advertisers that dont want to be associated with that type of streaming i would think they had that in their contract with Twitch.

The sad part is i watched enough streams with women that have NOT been lightly dressed and without huge cleavages and all they get as soon as a new follower joins is "lol nice boobs" and whatnot. Some might say some think it matters not if they are scantily dressed since they get those questions and sugestions ALL the time.

    A) Dont care what people decide to do with their body and what people care to watch.

    B) I dont care if Twitch gets shut down within the next 15 min.

But for the sake of the discussion and whats being said, its obvious the camgirls have flocked to twitch like moths to a flame because Twitch is inconsistent in the way it moderates its platform.

Plus considering how a couple of years back when they sweepingly handed out timed bans for any streamer who had been streaming partially nude, full on topless or being overtly sexual kinda suggests what they precedent was. But now they're clearly being extremely forgiving to those that have repeatedly broke the guidelines and in fact have banned streamers discussing the issue longer than the actual streamers breaking the rules.
im curious as to how that "discussion was going" with the streamers that got suspended longer then the actual "boobie stremer" Havent seen it but i wouldnt be surprised if there was quite alot of cursing and namecalling towards the women each and evertime this have happened IF it happened at all.

Well yeah, they've flocked to it because most gamers will always be into girls on cams and watching what they're doing. Eventually it will attract even people that aren't gamers.

    Twitch isn't an adult site.
you mean to say that you cant say Fuck on Twitch? Ohh boy i guess alot of streamers are gonna get banned in short order then.

This is the fucking entitled shit i see many people spout in the name of "family friendly" Yes Twitch may very well have begun as a dedicated gamingstreamersite but guess what? THEY EVOLVED you know they saw that people wanted to stream other stuff and guess what the thing is apparently the viewers ALSO wanted that since they are fairly popular in the IRL section.

And as you say parents cant monitor their kids 24/7 But if it is as you say that young children come to watch games why the hell are they in IRL section? And would they not be likely to just flip to next streamer if they are not playing the game they wanted to see?

how do you know tha they are children? You one of them maybe? Also if a "significant portion" is children then how is it that many many many of the "boobie streamers" as you call them get some insane donations, ofc children are paying all their allowances on boobie streamers. Yup

Well doing it over Twitch doesn't carry the implication that the girl is a whore. On Twitch they're doing other things AND showing off their bodies for money, cam girl sites they're just selling sex.

I think from that my affection for the past time is clear...
But it really shows for people who don't exhibit that same, and it does piss me off I can clearly see girls flaunt they are "totally gamer girls" and attract guys because they want attention. It's quite laughable in a way.

I don't Twitch so I don't see it so I can overlook it but in other places like online gaming, it's like "seriously, you're doing it for all the wrong reasons." Maybe I'm mature but even when I was younger, it was still a roll eyes moment.
The hilarious thing is that people bash the streamers for how and why they stream and say "whataboutthechildren" Why dont they attack the ones actually looking at them and enabling their continued streaming?

So basically, kids go to this website to watch gaming streams and then they are exposed to scarcely dressed (or even nude) women?

How come there aren't a million lawsuits yet?
