In the days after the earthquake that leveled Haiti in 2010, Hillary Clinton's State department launched a massive media campaign to paint the response to the earthquake as a success. Years later, the wikileaks email release would reveal that they had been covering up the truth about what happened.

Two days ago, Dean Lorich, an early critic of the Haiti response that issued a scathing editorial that contradicted the official story about what had happened in Haiti, was found dead in his apartment due to an 'apparent suicide.' The doctor apparently stabbed himself in the chest, missing his own heart and causing a wound that resulted in him slowly bleeding out on the floor of his Manhattan apartment. No suicide note has been found.

Oddly enough, most of the media sources I have read do not mention his involvement in the wikileaks emails and the criticism of the Haiti response.
