tbh I have a few friends in the airforce and they say many fighter pilots are like maverick and iceman.

I would agree, the one and only scene I really took to is when he straight up asked Maverick who's side he was on. Because the truth is his inability to reign in his personal demons and shit, was not only putting him in danger but everyone else.

Not soo fast it was Iceman's antagonism that lite the fuse to begin with, I would stop short at falling him a bully, but he was obviously the better man, in spite of his behavior, he probably could have stepped the fuck up with his gifts and been a leader, thus making them all better by challenging them yes, but very much setting an example for who's team he was on besides his own.

Yeah Maverick went on to date Katie Holmes, made several times what Iceman did, and Leads his own CULT if you believe the press, He might be a real loser, but if we are judging him based on overall accomplishments, I think Maverick takes this one.
