Should players be able to use store credit for classic server subscription+

I think players shouldn't be able to use token and blizzard currency from their blizzard store because it wasn't a thing in vanilla.

Is purchasing the game part of the gameplay itself?
    Why or why not?

You shouldn't be able to use ur i5/1080 PC since it wasn't around in Vanilla.

Only Pentium III and P4 PC's only running windows xp.

Broadband was available during vanilla. Besides, it isn't part of something that Blizz had developed.

Better monitors and balless mice existed during vanilla, and these technolgies were not developed by Blizzard and wasn't develop for the game's qol.

Sure but those weren't built by Blizzard and thus not relevant to vanilla, unlike in game credits and game tokens.

How the subscription is paid for should hold no baring on the game. It doesn't change game play at all. As such, I don't believe it matters if they do or don't.

No, that’d be catering to casuals.

Vanilla shouldn’t be on the battle.net app either, it should be on the old, slower launcher.

We don't even know if there will be a separate subscription needed outside of the one you pay for Legion today.

    Nah. Windows 98/ME or nothing.

    http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/System_requirements

    Requirements at launch (4-Dec-2004):[9]
    Windows® System 98/ME/2000/XP OS
    800 MHz or higher CPU
256 MB or more of RAM
32 MB 3D graphics card with hardware transform and lighting, such as GeForce 2 or better
4 GB or more of available hard drive space
    DirectX® 9.0c or above
A 56k or higher modem with an Internet connection

Actually ran on 98/ME until end of TBC. And with a decent 98 build it ran quite well. Used to watch a friend play Vanilla on his Windows 98 PC.

And Classic should work only with Win98.

XP was out then so be fair at least.

Hell XP was RTM in 2001 because ME was a disaster and 2000 wasn't anything spectacular.

I don't know if you know this but you can sell tokens in game which is game breaking and did not exist in vanilla

and without credit, you can't play the game. That CHANGES the game.

There should. The money paid by vanilla fetishists should only paid for classic server. Mixing up the money would destroy vanilla's pristinity.

Please post constructively as no one paid like that during vanilla.

The WoW token should not be available to sell/buy on Classic servers.

Part of the experience was, apparently, to feel rich and like the Big Man if you had 50 gold.

That being said, if a player has bought a wow token through gold and paid for subscription that way on Live servers, it should obviously grant access to Classic servers.

  19. #19
Nope. Having a sub was part of the "experience".

Of course it will probably be done unless it is it's own thing. But I don't think people will have 2 subs, 1 for retail and 1 for classic.
Me thinks Chromie has a whole lot of splaining to do!

    m
I think there should be different sub as they are different games altogether. If they are the same game, then it would be a slippery slope that would ruin the classic experience.
