Looks like betrayal is in their blood.
Azshara and her acolytes betrayed their own people to the Burning Legion.
High elves betrayed the Alliance over the actions of one man, and joined in the Horde. Of course it only took one man, betrayal is in their blood.
Kael'Thas betrayed his own people to the Burning Legion, same as Azshara.
Elisande betrayed her own people to the Burning Legion. Yes, it's a very recurring theme when it comes to elves.
Thalyssra betrayed not only her Alliance helper but also the Alliance who came to liberate Suramar, only over the words of Tyrande. Once again, it was easy since they're so quick to turn on their allies.
Void elves betrayed their own once again and joined back with the Alliance.
Why are we even trusting an elf?!

It must have been that and nothing to do with the spies the Alliance sent to Quel'Thalas to sabotage the elves' defenses.

Clearly you forgot about gnomes. Apart from soup, another good use for them is an aquarium ornament. Check out the pet store in Dalaran.

What's up with dismissing what Alliance under Garithos did as actions of just one man lol. I didn't see Stormwind and Dalaran putting theirs lawful good superhero cape and rushing to the rescue.

Dath'Remar and his Highborne betrayed their people by continuing to practice arcane magic.
Tyrande betrayed Cenarius by freeing Illidan.
Dar'Khan betrayed his people to the Scourge.
Vereesa betrayed her people to the Alliance.
Zendarin betrayed his family and kidnapped his 1st cousins once removed.
Vereesa betrayed her sister by not murdering Garrosh.
Sylvanas tried to betray her sister, intending to turn Vereesa into an undead.

Well Void Elves...if anything the Blood Elves betrayed them...instead of trying to fix or eliminate ticking time bombs the Blood Elves just kicked them out. Considering all it took was Alleria to start the corruption of the Sunwell...what would of happened if these Void Elves they kicked out groups up and got to the Sunwell?
Still such a flimsy and stupid story how they came to be lol

Void Elves aren't betraying their own, the total opposite, they get betrayed by their own because of their study of the Void and get thrown out.
