Miserable bitch would be more apt
She really needs to get over herself.
I like the response tweet. Wish more companies would stand up to these twats trying to get attention.
No rational person takes seriously someone who uses "microaggression" unironically.
Offense is taken, not given. If being called "honey", even if it's meant to patronize you, is "offensive", you're part of the problem.
"Bud", "buddy", or "dude" irritate me, but I don't get "offended" over it.

If it was a female that called you honey would it be just as triggering? Asking for a friend.
This world would be a better place if more companies told whiny college millennial to get bent instead of modifying their company and issuing a major public statement expressing such shock and horror and deep regret.
Incidentally, this girl proved why more people should call her "honey."
Except that you use a word choice as ammunition to condemn for the use of micro aggression.
Micro aggression is simply "brief and commonplace daily verbal, behavioral, or environmental indignities, whether intentional or unintentional, that communicate hostile, derogatory, or negative slights and insults"
Now in the context of modern society (fuck me btw) perhaps "Honey" is not an appropriate choice for a customer. Familiar or not, I would have never used that toward any customers when I worked in a similar arena.
But that isn't REALLY the issue, is it? No the issue is that she didn't like her complaint being dismissed. Now while that is probably never going to get you a high custom service score... some people NEED and SHOULD be put in their place and have their comments or complaints dismissed, and any sarcasm, passive aggressiveness, or micro aggression should be expected.
Customers can be total douche bags at times. Rarely do they actually get told to stuff it... it should happen more often.
I'm sure she was perfectly cordial as she communicated her distaste for whatever her complaint was about... as most customers often are when they feel strongly enough to voice an opinion.

She's ridiculously out of touch if she thinks someone saying 'honey' is degrading. It's a common term used by many people living in the United Kingdom, particularly in various parts of Northern England and Scotland. My cleaner often calls me 'dear' or 'love' whenever she visits. It doesn't offend me at all.
Only reason it's getting any attention is because the man working for someone and companies mostly listen for complaints about harassment. Alto in recent years it's switched from "He fingered me behind the desk and i don't like that desk!" to "Old white privileged male called me honey!" they still being look at in the same way.
I just wander how long it would take them give a shit or they will bend over to this new reality.
If yes then I already see SJW death camps, where they exterminate all accused of misogyny, improper conduct and micro aggression.
Bitch sounds like one of the typical crazies that are becoming so common these days.
Virgin’s original reply was right, they shouldn’t have apologised.
I wonder how she'd react to the endearing form of 'cunt'?
