I think it'd be a really cool edition. I'd be for it, as long as it isn't forced.
haha , nope why not fix the current specs befor adding more broken stuff?
Yup. Tie it to Chi-Ji. Use lightning, chi, spinning flower blossoms, all that stuff. Would be neat.
if they ever get a 4th spec should just be mop WW pasted in there, so they have at least 1 fun spec.
This isn't the same company. They are not in touch with the playerbase, they are hellbent on profit, and yea companies deserve profit, but not at the cost of the health of the game, and they became their own worst enemy. WoW was special not because of vanilla, bc, or wrath. No nostalgia here. It was special because of Blizzards involvement with the community, which is all but lost now. They changed everything into the least possible communication with the community.
no. yes it could work, but at that point shaman need earth tank. DH also need a ranged spec. paladins get a ranged spec.
No.
/10 characters
"I Am Vengeance. I Am The Night. I Am Felfáádaern!"
I always thought it could do with a lorewalker spec.
Conjuring illusions of long forgotten legends, summoning weapons of myth, mimicing great maneuvers or feats
Not necessarily like a pet class, but something like:
"You recite the tale of Thomund the Dragonslayer, as he appears before your enemy and strikesthe down like he did Velomasz centuries ago."

The game is never going to be balanced ever.
Just add whatever's cool tbh, so few people play at a level where it makes a difference.
Sure, they can do it after they make Outlaw Rogues tank and give rogues a Bard healing spec
No. It has never been part of the fantasy that Monks were ranged classes. Maybe have more ranged abilities but solely a ranged class no.
I would love to have a ranged spec where you perform a Kata and do dps, buff, heal or debuff based on your moves. A true support Dps.
I kind of want fist-weaving back as it's own spec.
The black Ox is the brewmaster celestial.
The White Tiger is the windwalker celestial.
The Jade Serpent is the mistweaver celestial.
The Red Crane was also the mistweaver celestial.
Fist-weaving used the stance of the spirited crane. Plus the whole... melee healer thing was a selling point of the monks
... That is well non-existent anymore.
Ryu is a monk? No.
Goku is a monk? No.
In China, monks are mostly Buddhist. The monks that westerners like are the "combat monk" that train physically. Monk that don't train physically are also "monk".
In the west, monks are robe wearing scribes that like children in magical ways? That I don't know.
Ryu is a fantastical character, more "(street) fighter" than monk.
Goku is also a fantastical character borrowed by Old China myth under the same (original) name. Original "Goku" were a mythical creature in Chinese lore, definitely not a monk.
