Oh I never knew VR was attracted to the same sex.

Normal patches start at 3AM PST so I'm going to go ahead and speculate they are doing onsite maintenance at each of the data centers for this patch. Probably adding new infrastructure or removing old end of life hardware in preparation for BFA.

Andd the emisarries are bugged. Argussian Reach is 14hours when it should be 2 days. HM reset and Legionfall too.

They don't get paid anything special. They are near Silicon Valley. Developers are a dime a dozen so to speak. I know someone who didn't take a job offer to work on their engine team because they were offered 30K more in Minnesota to do virtually the same thing.

It was 2.2 GB's of content which only included a battleground's art assets. They don't patch entire files anymore like the past so that's definitely a lot of changes going into the game. It's obviously similar to the scaling tech they used in Legion leveling but it's being applied to 50+ zones now instead of 5.

$400 gets you an Occulus set, two great controllers, two trackers, and a couple good games. The barrier is low enough now as that is pretty darn cheap for great tech.

I'll be snagging a set soon for some loli trickery antics too!
