    No, its not sexism.
Your literally a waste of time if you will deny treating a women differently based on her gender is sexism. The second link had advice to wear flat shoes to avoid more feet pain. Heels aren't flat don't you have any reading comprehension, there is no reason in the world a women shouldn't be able to wear the same shoes as a man at work except that sexism says a women has to wear different clothing for no reason at all. Heels have being proven to cause injuries, it is sexism, I will not be replying further as you are literally ignoring the defintion of sexism. It is pure discrimnation to make a women wear different clothing because they are a women, it is treating them differently based on their sex, therefore textbook sexism. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/e...-a3600851.html

It is the defintion of sexism to make a women do something but not make a man do the same thing, why can't women wear the same shoes men wear? Because they are women? that is literally the defintion of sexism.
Has it ever crossed your mind that maybe some women actually enjoy wearing high heels because it makes them look pretty and desirable ?

Not every female has to be an obese short haired lesbian feminist with 0 seduction power to fit your fucking equalitarian totalitarism.

    From your link:

Most of those injured were women between the ages of 20 and 29, and the injuries typically occurred while in the home.
    I.E not at work.

Jesus christ, then it's fine for them to wear heels but employers have forced women to wear heels, can you not understand the difference. Like if you rape someone that's bad, if they have sex with you willingly that's fine. Jesus christ extreme example but same premise.

Pedophilia is OK in Hollywood, that's why they don't care about Woody Allen.

But many of these problems still exist, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotlan...tland-40779617 women are still forced to wear heels in the uk despite injuries being a proven risk, men and women should have equal footing at work with the ability to share a reasonable dresscode instead of one side being forced to wear dangerous shoes. Women have complained, also some women forced to wear makeup too. ALSO http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk...-a7544696.html

I would take that with more weight if heels weren't so popular outside of the office. You can't claim gender discrimination if you throw heels on and go dancing. It'd be different if women were required to wear corsets, as those aren't so popular.

Having heels in the dress code isn't sexist.

"...in the office" which is what was being discussed. The link the other poster provided even says most accidents while wearing heels occur at home. So in he context of work they aren't.

Really!? Sounds exciting, one set durning the rebellion of ned stark and the king would be great but I fear this is not the topic at hand, I've only started posting on this forum recently so I am not sure how off topic you can go before beheading begins heh. I didn't even know there was a black widow film on the way till this thread, woohoo.

Women generally look like they are in considerable pain when wearing high heels. Because they usually are. It is not a good look.

I'm not sure about men who claim to like them. It is a bit weird. Like guys who pick up on a very famous female model or Hollywood star and proclaim loudly that they'd like to bang her. One suspects they are repressed homosexuals try to adopt a stereotypical hetrosexual persona and overcompensating.

Well, as pointed out by myself and winterblossom in all locations heels can cause injuries. women choosing to wear them is fine, but being forced to because they are women is just wrong. An extra barrier for women (pain) is not equality.

No reason women should have to wear something a man doesn't have to wear, normally to make them look more attractive, women shouldn't be used as eye candy there are plenty of sensible looking dress shoes for women that are flat and pratical.

Plenty of office jobs in the UK, lots of articles have being written on it and they even attempted to make it illegal.
