I would take that with more weight if heels weren't so popular outside of the office. You can't claim gender discrimination if you throw heels on and go dancing. It'd be different if women were required to wear corsets, as those aren't so popular.

I'm not sure about men who claim to like them. It is a bit weird. Like guys who pick up on a very famous female model or Hollywood star and proclaim loudly that they'd like to bang her. Well, as pointed out by myself and winterblossom in all locations heels can cause injuries. women choosing to wear them is fine, but being forced to because they are women is just wrong. An extra barrier for women (pain) is not equality.
