Quillboars as a playable race

They are using the dwarf model and have all its animations. I'd totally roll a quill boar warlock or something.

Who else is on board with the quillboar love.

To be fair, they are low on my priority list for allied races though.

I've wanted Quillboars for some time but I don't think it will ever happen. They have a pretty strong feud with Orcs. Ogres though...

Quillboars and Gnolls would be awesome, although the new Kul Tiran modelled ones use the Tauren skeleton/animations.

Imagine a Gnoll Hunter with the new Hyena mount and Hyena pet.

Quillboars wont be an allied race unless they go Alliance, considering they almost completely killed off the Tauren until the Orcs helped them.

All the allied races so far have been subraces (nightborne - night elves, zandalari - trolls, dark iron - dwarves, etc).
Quillboar are a completely separate race, and thus seem unlikely to me.

Correlation does not imply causation.

They are called Allied races, not sub races for a reason.
