Humans all die one day depressing as It Is but It can't be stopped.
To me it's more depressing to realize that I deserve to have lived in the far future when I would hope people would have gotten over all the petty stuff that they use to divide each other, rather than now when you get an idiot like Trump and his racist dipshit supporters running things.
They could be a good or bad thing. What if right now is the height of Human existence and in the next 10-20 years all the climate change predictions come true and the whole earth becomes a shithole?
On the other side, I heard a few predictions that kids born today, will possibly be the first gen that will have life extending technology, which could keep them around long enough to see more life extending technology etc etc
Hey what do you know, the other billion plus people before you also "deserved" to live in that future too.
Pretty sure we'll develop a means of colonising planets well before the Earth gets destroyed.
Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.
fuck that you just want to roll with it.
Otherwise you end up being a Peter Thiel level cunt.
OK, whose sock is spamming these questions? Created December 2017 -- we ain't even through January and they're up to 53 threads started, with most being drop and run questions like this.
With COVID-19 making its impact on our lives, I have decided that I shall hang in there for my remaining days, skip some meals, try to get children to experiment with making henna patterns on their skin, and plant some trees. You know -- live, fast, dye young, and leave a pretty copse. I feel like I may not have that quite right.
Who knows what happens when we die. Death is but the next great adventure.
Less sad and more disappointing. Especially if we finally meet intelligent aliens. I'll be one angry ghost if I die before meeting aliens. Maybe we'll finally invent cryostasis pods and we'll be able to freeze ourselves into the future. Probably not though.
Meh satisfied with current technology. Even though I experienced the 90s entirely, I wouldn't last a day if you transported me back to 1995.
The scientific minded don't feel sad.
If you're sad it's a sign of religious thought.

Well, how do you know?
You speak in absolute, yet time itself is anything but absolute.

[...] we have an intolerance for ideas and evidence that don’t fit a certain ideology. I’m also not saying that we should restrict people to certain gender roles; I’m advocating for quite the opposite: treat people as individuals, not as just another member of their group (tribalism)..
I'm more interested why you are using an "I" for it.
It's sad to see we as a human race are going backwards, The far future won't be pleasant so you better off dead.
