The same tech used to create it, will most likely be the same tech used to determine it's fake.

It being fake has nothing to do with it. If your face gets glued on a porn or crime scene, it could harm your reputation, career and private life alike - and even if you can prove it isn't you, it may still ruin the image people have about you if said scene is the first thing they associate you with.

There is already tons of photoshopped pictures of anyone you don't like doing things that makes them look bad, I don't see this has any different. Unless we want to outlaw memes as well, this may be a tough one for some parts of the world.

And how do you really plan to control this? Pirates Bay still runs freely along with other torrent sites, so these fake porns will just be hosted\distributed in places that don't have strict laws.

There's an easy solution. Treat any such the same way we treat "revenge porn". If you made it for personal consumption, it's creepy but we can leave it there. If you distributed it, welcome to prison time. Maybe you can argue it's not as bad as revealing real stuff, so maybe half the penalty, so only 2 years in prison rather than 5.

You don't have to find it weird at all, society has been trying to control men's sexuality for a while now.

From shaming single men to mocking the hobbies men were developing ( gaming, tabletops ) to trying to tell men how they should act in relationships. Even Valentine's Day is a way of manipulating men since the onus is usually on the man to organise something romantic and spend $$.

Society wants you to be a nice little blue pill. You're meant to take women out and pay, spend a lot on an engagement ring, provide for your woman ( even though society also wants "equality" ), pay child support, pay alimony and so on and so forth.

When men no longer need women you're messing their plans up. Suddenly you have a lot of single women who aren't having kids, or they're having kids without an active father, which leads to disfunctional upbringings for kids or having no money. And that makes for a catastrophic combo.

Curious how in false accusation cases the accusers are mostly women and in deepfakes the creators are mostly men.
