    960 Pro speed question

    Hey all

Just wanted to ask people who might be familiar with the Samsung 960 Pro 512gb

I have it installed on an Asus Maximus Hero X, latest bios and drivers.
    Here's my CrystalDiskMark bench.

Does the read seem a little low?
I did install Samsung's NVME Drivers, I think it replaced Microsoft's.

    Anyway thanks!

A quick google of results look to me like those are decent, if not above average. Either way, it's still pretty hefty above most SSD's... not that you'll actually see any real world difference.

I have the 960 Evo, and your results are a little higher than mines, so all's good.

Same here, I have 960 evo,
Before looking at the speed results I was wondering if you had left the m.2 in sata not pci-e x4 mode.
It seems to be a common mistake

    ofc thats not the case
