Spring of ‘06...
Would have liked to start earlier, but I was a broke teenager. Didn’t have the comp or funds for the monthly sub, but I feel like I joined at a great time nonetheless. I was able to experience Vanilla leveling all the way to 60, made some good friends, and had enough time to really get hyped up for the expansion.Stoneskin, Mana Spring, Wrath of Air, Totem of Wrath...

I started a bit after The Burning Crusade launch, and have always felt like I've missed a lot because of not having played Vanilla.
Seriously, there are so many legendary stories about people camping some herbs in Felwood, PVP'ing at dragon world bosses or running around the world getting buffs. Nothing that came after that just feels like anything.
Do you have "the" story from Vanilla that you always somehow end up telling everyone?
