PA special election in 8 days, Democrat has 3 point lead in latest poll.

    http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign...-election-poll

Trump carried this district by over 20 points, and the District was previously held by republican Tim Murphy. If dems pick this up it'll reduce the number of house seats they need to pick up to secure a majority this November to a mere 23.

Yes, but last I read the GOP is trying to delay it, so it's still up in the air at this point.

We're gonna get the house, but I'm not sure about the senate still.

All we can do is hope enough people want to vote for liberty.

I live in Tim Murphy's district.

This is pretty much my attitude going into the voting booth next week:
F**k if I'm putting a vote down for any republican at this point.

At this point the GOP has almost rescinded their right to legislate. Of course they'll still pass all their bullshit policies and kickbacks, but in the end, the Dems will take back control and right the ship (as they always do).

They have no chance of taking the Senate, and will probably cannibalize each other to dethrone Pelosi. It’s not going to be pretty.
Then you have to count what the GOP has done for the last 8 years, and by what I can see they've done an enormously unpopular tax cut. Yay for the GOP.

Just because people like it doesn't mean it was a good idea. There was absolutely no reason to ever give businesses that kind of money, especially when all they've done with it is give 2% back to the employees and the rest for buybacks and executive raises.

It will have even more support by mid terms this fall.

The one issue however, the democrats seem to have more stream in getting their base out to vote. The Republicans can not rest thinking they will win. However, I am still sticking to my prediction I made for the new year back in Jan. Congress will still have about the same balance it has now when the mid terms are over.

Too far in the future for the great majority to worry about. Besides, no one can say it will not be extended.

Look at the graph. See the boost the Republicans got in January from passing the tax bill? It's gone now. They're back to where they were before it.

Don’t let facts get in your way. You have snark and month old talking points to hide your ignorance.
If only the fiscally irresponsible GOP could find a way to pay for it, instead of simply stealing money from unborn children. It's a shame that liberals suddenly became more fiscally responsible than the GOP.

Currently all I can say is that they will, because that is what it is supposed to do, and anyone not worried about the future is fucking stupid. Each year people will pay more and they'll certainly love the tax cut then, not to mention when even more of the money we've given businesses don't go to employees.

Yeah..that graph shows me it is up and down. The last election also showed me how unreliable polls can be. lol! But there is no question the Democrats are working hard on getting their base energized. But as time goes on, more and more will start to see the tax cut is benefiting them more than what they thought. I know some democrat friends who have not even checked to see how much they have saved. Some will not know until they file their quarterly tax return next month.

But in all, I would not be surprised if the Democrats pick up some house seats. Senate? Not so sure there.

I agree with that. But most do not. Too many live pay check to pay check.

    I'm always prepared.

It's just that I usually give candidates the benefit of the doubt, and vote according to the candidate, and not by party. I am (admittedly) going to be one of those responsible for putting the cheeto in office for voting third party because I honestly hated both dem and republican candidates.

I'm at the point right now, any (r) I see is an immediate non-vote from me.

Awesome. It's been that way for me since the first time I voted at 18, lol

You write these things only because you either don't pay attention or redistribute facts to fit your narrative. The GOP is insanely unpopular, overall, with Cheeto being the most unpopular president to date.

But ok, I guess the GOP will be fine because their tax break measure is mostly misunderstood and their lies about it are finally taking root? Whatever floats your boat at this point.

Just remember, you Trumpkins are in for a HARD couple of years. This past couple of weeks are just a small window into the pain you and your god-king are going to suffer.
