Who the flying fuck is Preach and why should I give a rat's arse about his opinion of Alliance zones?
Who the flying fuck is Preach and why should I give a rat's arse about his opinion of Alliance zones?
So, in other words, an Alpha is an Alpha. Anything else?
90% of this thread is just kids shitting on a streamer... not because he has no point, but because they like throwing fecals at someone they dont like. Now guess how many watched the video before they went all ham with their excrements.
- The alliance zones might be light, happy, and non immersive because the alliance is mostly played by children
Wrong, biased and subjective
- The Alliance Zone is Disconnected
Subjective opinion
- Preach hated Tirigarde Sound so much he turned the game off and refused to play it.
So because he didnt like something, it sucks, opinion, biased, subjective
- Tirigarde is full of filler side quests that have no long story. Boring quests.
Subjective opinion
- The main Story in Tirigarde is short and completely boring.
Subjective opinion
- Drustvar's story isn't compelling
Subjective opinion
- Zuldazar has 8 hours of content
You get out, what you put in, if you rush and are looking to complete as fast as possible, the content will probably not last.
- Nazmir has characters you care about
Subjective opinion
- The alliance characters are weak and not worth giving a shit about
Subjective opinion
- The alliancer zones repeat themselves
Subjective perception
- The horde zones tie into future content. Alliance doesnt.
Subjective perception
- The Alliance are picking up the trash. Lame quests
Subjective opinion
- One of the primary alliance characters is a Disney Ripoff
Subjective perception
- Alliance gameplay is full of repetitive stuff like Vanilla. Boring and Tedias
Subjective perception
- In Drustvar Preach and co made a mocking joke about a repeat quest in Drustvar.
So one person's opinion is fact now? They made a joke, so the whole zone must suck /sarcasm.
- A bunch of duplicate quests in Alliance zones. Preach doesn't think it's placehold. "This stuff is NOT placeholder."
Adequate point, if the word "bunch" is a bit subjective.
- Alliance has slow escort quests. 4 to 5 minutes long. Horde has none
Slow is Subjective, again opinion is not fact
- Most of the Alliance quests are monotonous and repeated story reasons
Again, subjective
- He Believes that Blizzard needs to address this copy paste gameplay
Again, subjective
- There may be significantly more horde people than alliance. Maybe they got lazy with alliance because people dont play alliance.
Not even sure how to address this, obvious opinion and pretty much shows his bias
You will not that 99% of the complaints are subjective opinions and not facts. If you go look for shit, guess what, you will find what you think is shit.
And others, such as Bellulargaming, like the Alliance zones way better. As a Horde player, I look forward to playing through the Alliance content.
Seriously, will BfA just be one big Alliance bitchfest?

Preach is just the new Asmongold. Some refer to these people like authorities and form their opinions based on what these guys say.
It'll die down, both the need some feel to link to Preach, as well as the vitriol.
BTW, it's quite obvious that they pander to Horde. Don't need to be a genius to see that. Having played both sides, you sure get a lot pumped up and going "For the Horde" than you ever have for the alliance.
Once you notice one side gets all the attention, you obviously neglect the other. Enter Level 70 tauren chieftain, all the statues at Blizz for WoW being Horde (ever since the initial dwarf), the allied races for the Horde, and most Alliance heroes going neutral.
I'm not even bitching, I stopped playing because I despise what WoW has done to MMORPGs in terms of making gameplays for retards.
They are just doing the smart (read: money making) thing. It's sensible, and I doubt it's ever going to stop.
Yes, if you look for shit, you'll find shit. But you're the one doing that. Look at that argument you think you quoted from him. He puts that out as a hypothesis and then immediately pulls up the data to show that the difference in population is completely insignificant and that it'd be a bad idea even if it were true.
This is someone trying to help improve Alliance content.
Preach is a guy who played through them. I've been paying attention to multiple playthroughs, and his impression isn't unique. Even from Alliance players. I've not seen a single streamer who prefers the Alliance zones. Not a single one.
Jesus.......all these salty alliance people watching some ass wipe you tuber taking his word as gold. "Oh no...the horde has x,y and z and all we have is a...wah wah" I hope it at least has your pretty little chairs for you to sit in so you don't get dirty unlike the nasty horde who thrive on sitting on the ground and being dirty. Sound stupid? Yes it does...but so does all this idiotic crying about something that isn't even finished. Wait, read a book...or better yet......go OUTSIDE...omg.....it really is nice out there. It's a game, not real...get a life. And btw....For the Horde
I am just floored that someone is offering constructive feedback to make what is effectively half the expansion better and people are using it as an opportunity to be defensive of their fake political party or pound the chest of the other fake political party.
Or just say "subjective!" as a cure-all which...yeah, no shit? When you make a subjective point, you back up your personal perspective with why you feel that way and in this case how you think things can be improved. But nobody is paying attention to that and is zeroing in on things that aren't the point.
I already know that this community sucks but it's sucking on new and exciting levels.
It's not even about where the message is coming from - you could literally link me someone who has 4 subscribers and as long as they spent 20 minutes forming a cohesive opinion, I'll still at least fucking listen to them.
Excluding Horde superiority, I think blizzard is trying to find a sense of appeal to Alliance zones in BfA. I haven't played the beta yet nor looked at screenshots but I imagined that Kul'Tiras looked to be a fairly tame environment. Its a human colonized nation after all, but that doesn't necessarily have to mean that its lacking as opposed to Zandalar, no continent is without its faults and mishaps. At least thats the feeling I get when I see Kul'tiras from a design perspective.
Zandalar on the other hand is a troll colonized environment. The first thing that pops into my head when I hear that is "exotic" environment. (Savage is kinda pushing it, since Zandalari are trolls, but they're intelligent and organized) Hence their environment I imagine would look to be untamed and carefree. Thats the kinda territory that the adventuring type of individual would want to explore.
It's not complete. Meaning that it can still be changed. This is the exact right time to whine.
See, Drustvar is 90% complete. What you see now is what you will get. With a few tweaks at most unless it's overhauled.
But ah well. Keep telling yourself that alpha is alpha, that the complaints that are already on the feedback forums have no legitimacy. I've seen people whine while going through Drustvar.
Horde has the Maya Aztec Inca theme. Alliance has the pirate theme.
Guess which one has more flavour and more colours?
I'm pretty sure it is 100% personal taste and not general opinion, because for example while i'm horde to death fan and play horde since ages, for me vanilla wow had a far superior better alliance stories, that are better than even revamped zones for both alliance and horde
Right now in cata horde win by miles, but still alliance vanilla beat them by aeons u can say, while of course mechanics related cata quests are 'better', vanilla alliance ones feel far more RPG rooted than the more action packed zone-only quests of cata (alliance had quests like Legend of Stalvan that require u to travel to at least 3 zones for example)
So seriously if u don't like it and consider horde superior, i'm sure someone will find exact opposite on horde side too soon

As far i know, kul'tiras is heavy pirate theme based, so did those players like pirates in first place ? anyone who hate trolls don't like zandalar no matter how much u decorate it, my friend who like pirate themes will probably love alliance zones, he even consider rerolling alliance for Kul'tiras impression (as i said we are horde since ever) and he also hate trolls (he love taurens however most) so as u see opinion is opinion
The beginning of wisdom is the statement 'I do not know.' The person who cannot make that statement is one who will never learn anything. And I have prided myself on my ability to learn
Thrall
http://youtu.be/x3ejO7Nssj8 7:20+ "Alliance remaining super power", clearly blizz favor horde too much, that they made alliance the super power
The irony or funny thing is that Preach already know you all will bash his video without even watching it, its just a meme at this point.
I just watched Nixxiom's stream, and he immediately got lost on Zandalar and couldn't find the elevator that was literally right behind him at the start.
Of course he's going to think Drustvar is better. He was too stupid to actually start Zandalar.

Kul Tiras has pirates, I suppose. But the only people I've seen badmouth Zandalar are literally people too stupid to navigate the fucking map, whereas Kul Tiras is getting poor reviews from people who actually completed it and liked the general idea of the zones.
his bias as someone who has 12 (if not more) horde characters at 110 and basically only plays alliance during alphas and betas?
I think if you have someone who almost exclusively plays horde telling you that the alliance content is kinda shit, well maybe it's worth listening to that person
Iam tired of you ZOGZOG ppl
