Just watch the video, because the list of bulletpoints just does not reflect the tone of his video.

The main argument is: it feels like different teams work on the content of both factions. While you have a tense mainstory on the horde side (and every quest seems to be connected to this plot) you just rush from one questhub to another on alliance side without the feeling to process in a main storyline.

Imo most things he says are very reasonable and show a deeper knowledge from the evolution of WoWs gamedesign than most users within this thread have.

Drustvar is almost all about the witches and discovering and fighting the ancient Drust threat.

It's not childish, nor lighthearted. It's cohesive.

I haven't seen enough of Tiragarde to have a good view of that, but Drustvar seems amazing.

In concept, Drustvar sounds great. In practice, it feels to me like it's missing something vital. And I don't feel like writing fanfiction to compensate for what it's missing. Or at least, I don't feel like believing my own fanfiction.

I would say the streamer passing his subjective opinions and biased assumptions as fact is the one behaving like a kid. That not an opinion, it's trolling.
He is not the only one either. Belular also made a very biased video. The horde fans think they somehow got an upper hand cause their content is further on in development and are trying to make their click baity videos.

Simply put, the idea is total nonsense and they are behaving like children, or opportunists really.

Everyone knows Blizzard will make Alliance win the war because the generic fantasy good guys losing is bad for marketing. Horde having better leveling is our consolation prize.
Me not that kind of Orc!

As I stated above. This is an example of someone being told that they should ask for better content, and reacting to this as if it's Horde fans gloating about how much better they got it.

Here's the reality of the situation. Drustvar is more or less on par with Nazmir and Zuldazar in development. It's a complete questing experience. However, it doesn't make as good use of what it has to offer as the Zandalar zones. It needs a bit of overhauling in the middle. I'm not mocking Alliance players by saying this. Preach isn't insulting the Alliance when he says this.

He is trying to help you.

I think if you have someone who almost exclusively plays horde telling you that the alliance content is kinda shit, well maybe it's worth listening to that person
doesn't that actually means it is a great zone ?

Nobbel is stated that most of ally quests are currently phased/turned off, hinting that, maybe they want ppl to test horde quest first so they focus where they want to tweak. I guess they shouldnt have rushed through the alpha like they did.
If you watch the video he brings up what Nobel said. I know you are a small child and have to blindly defend Blizzard and your faction at all costs, but try to not to embarrass yourself.

    Wrong, biased and subjective

    - The Alliance Zone is Disconnected

    Subjective opinion

    - Preach hated Tirigarde Sound so much he turned the game off and refused to play it.

So because he didnt like something, it sucks, opinion, biased, subjective

    - Tirigarde is full of filler side quests that have no long story. Boring quests.

    Subjective opinion

    - The main Story in Tirigarde is short and completely boring.

    Subjective opinion

    - Drustvar's story isn't compelling

    Subjective opinion

    - Zuldazar has 8 hours of content

You get out, what you put in, if you rush and are looking to complete as fast as possible, the content will probably not last.

    - Nazmir has characters you care about

    Subjective opinion

    - The alliance characters are weak and not worth giving a shit about

    Subjective opinion

    - The alliancer zones repeat themselves

    Subjective perception

    - The horde zones tie into future content. Alliance doesnt.

    Subjective perception

    - The Alliance are picking up the trash. Lame quests

    Subjective opinion

    - One of the primary alliance characters is a Disney Ripoff

    Subjective perception

    - Alliance gameplay is full of repetitive stuff like Vanilla. Boring and Tedias

    Subjective perception

    - In Drustvar Preach and co made a mocking joke about a repeat quest in Drustvar.

So one person's opinion is fact now? They made a joke, so the whole zone must suck /sarcasm.

    - A bunch of duplicate quests in Alliance zones. Preach doesn't think it's placehold. "This stuff is NOT placeholder."

Adequate point, if the word "bunch" is a bit subjective.

    - Alliance has slow escort quests. 4 to 5 minutes long. Horde has none

Slow is Subjective, again opinion is not fact

    - Most of the Alliance quests are monotonous and repeated story reasons

    Again, subjective

    - He Believes that Blizzard needs to address this copy paste gameplay

    Again, subjective

    - There may be significantly more horde people than alliance. Maybe they got lazy with alliance because people dont play alliance.

Not even sure how to address this, obvious opinion and pretty much shows his bias

You will not that 99% of the complaints are subjective opinions and not facts. If you go look for shit, guess what, you will find what you think is shit.

You got a little something sticky on your chin

I will also answer this without mentioning the lack of comparative development.

Zandalar's story is the conclusion of this long-spanning Zandalar/Zul mystery that stretches back as far as Vanilla. Kul Tiras, on the other hand, is fairly contained in and of itself. In Zandalar you are solving the mystery of what Zul's problem is, meeting the mythical Rastakhan, seeing Loas that you've only caught glimpses of... etc etc.

Meanwhile in Kul Tiras you're helping some families and houses that are entirely new to the expansion. It's not a culmination of a huge expansion-spanning story arc... YET, but it doesn't have to be. Zandalar has a lot of baggage that correlates with a lot of lore on Azeroth. Kul Tiras is a port city. Both do NOT have to be as "epic" as one another.

I recommend watching Preach's video instead of taking OP's (I suspect intentionally vague) summary at face value.

It's not about scale. It's about quality. A well-written story can even make something small scale seem deep and important. You don't need spacegods intervening for things to feel like an adventure. As it is now, Drustvar's buildup doesn't seem so great. The Drust King doesn't need to be the new Lich King, but he should at least get better narrative buildup.

While the horde zones does seem more grandiose, especially Zuldazar, I like the sorta down to earth style of the alliance zones.

I just listen to Preach's video on comparing the two factions contend and its doesnt look good for the Alliance at all, if what he says is true about the Alliance and I spend hours just collecting bear and wolf asses and picking onions then they seriously dropped the ball and throwing in Witcher and Game of Thrones references everywhere isnt helping in making your content more interesting in my opinion just makes it feel dated, and seem to cement my feeling that they didnt know what to really do with Kul'Tiras and just made it up on the spot.

I hope I am proven wrong and they will make a lot more and fix things but as it seems right now the Alliance doesnt hold a candle to Horde content.

Yeah, I didn't see it at that bad either. It's good to have this kind of criticism early on in alpha when they can change things. The alliance stuff we've seen so far is very weak, but that could be because Blizzard isn't really good at writing more subtle, dramatic stories like they seem to want to be telling in Kul'tiras and they come off as far too childish and dull because they are just not capable of writing a story like that. I don't think they are intentionally trying to make the alliance story bad, it's just something that seems to be incidentally happening because of the different type of feeling and story they are trying to tell on the alliance side.

I much prefer pirates and witches to Aztecs and dinosaurs, so I prefer the Alliance zones.

Also, would be great if you stop linking garbage vids from a garbage F-tier YTer. It's starting to wear thin. If you must to link a YT/streamer then link Asmongold or something, at least he's funny from time to time.

Thy could fix it by rehiring the guys who wrote Classic. I mean, Classic had in terms of story and world building some of the best questlines ever and the humans were never as deep as they were back in Classic.

It's nice that you like pirates and witches, but Preach never said they were bad things either. No one has said that pirates and witches are bad. Or that Aztecs and dinosaurs are what make Zandalar good. Zandalar could have easily been awful with Aztecs and dinosaurs intact.

This is a matter of quality. Zandalar does Aztecs and dinosaurs well. Kul Tiras does witches and pirates as "meh".

Why do so many people act like the Alliance is being insulted when people are saying that Kul Tiras isn't looking too great right now?

The fucker is trying to give constructive feedback to improve your zones. If that's bias, then we should all be biased. A biased person would just say that the Alliance is shit and deserves nothing but shit.

Well in my defense, I never have or will watch one of his garbage clickbait videos to know what his points are.
