    the Darkside of Hots

hello, i'v grown a bit sick and tired of Hots inherent problems caused by childish immature players and the Hots dev's broken system they implemented and havent realized how BROKEN it is, and that its making it more Toxic for regular players

i'm gonna give you 2 scenario's i have had to deal with and these 2 happen almost every time i play
#1 being a single lane pusher , Nazeebo is my favorite, at the start of the game i play some tactics by destroying the enemies healing fountains to improve the odds for our side * i get complains when i die doing this * step 2 after the 1 minute mark i grab 1 or 2 mercs * i get complains when im not in a Bot or Top lane during this * now that the enemy is distracted dealing with the mercs i push Bot or Top lane that is deserted by the enemy * i get complains when there is a big fight going on and our team gets to greedy and starts to lose 2 or 3 heroes * lvl 10 now im soloing whole towers and forts in seconds meanwhile also grabbing mercs when ever i can to increase the odds to win for our team * note : if you look at yr minimap you can deduce who is gonna win by the amount of merc captures and forts being actively destroyed by either team , if 1 team does really well in the PVE part destroying stuff then that team will win by 65% chance ratio * now the fort has been destroyed and i can push for the final fort and enable the siege catapult for that lane or i can participate in grabbing an icon or shrine that does nothing then wasting time , the Time i could have used to push the final fort , the choice is obvious for Nazeebo to push lanes over objectives * and while making the obvious choice .. Not saying that when we have 2 out of 3 tokens or emblems that i'm gonna ignore that, i will help when that's the case *
so now im looking at the map to see if there are any other forts out there to be destroyed because Nazeebo needs lvl 16 poison ring to really wreck forts apart and now doing objectives is really a waste of time * so frustrated people who think im not participating will complain relentlessly non stop * and this is the pivotal moment where it will go really quick and demands dedication and a high risk after you cleared 1 lane and hopped to the next you can if the enemy is ignoring you use the gargatuan build to wreck enemy bases every 30 seconds with a 10 second cooldown on gargatuan use , and by doing this you force the enemy to go on the full defense and you may die a couple of times but you single handedly secured the win for your team if you just keep wrecking their buildings and die trying in the process * and the over sensitive immature people have no clue Of your game plan and Will remorselessly throw complaints and reports at you * my personal thoughts on objectives are that they are not a necessity to win the game and there for can be ignored if you out perform the objectives anyhow * and in the end you secure the win because you changed the mentality of the enemy , you forced them to stay on the defensive so your team can has more time to be offensive and push for the win * But you still get tons of complains while doing so by childish players who want to FORCE you to play the objectives that are an absolute time waste ( also depends on what objective it is )

to sum it up * the complaint system is an absolute waste of use for toxic players who can't deal with their frustrations its a broken system it does more dmg then good , people use it even if 1 players out smarts a situation to grab mercs or can't do objectives when half the team is dead and running to 4 enemy heroes and dying while trying to do the objective results in more complains and reports and a chat full cursing idiot/s.
a Solution for this is simple , You GIVE you an option where you Choose to be vulgar or can scream off the top of your lungs cursing people out or what ever because this makes people feel better Without the risk of getting reported , i rather play a game where other people or me can call people out on their bullshit and be as vulgar or rude as they or i can , because people need to vent their rage and every game there is 1or more idiot/s who have that issue.
and reporting is the Sole way to vent with their frustrations and HOTS is a MINE FIELD for regular players to play alongside those toxic players

scenario #2 so right off the bat your team is being crushed its either your team is bad or they have heroes that work really well together * and here is where the complaints start, this can happen at any moment in the game* your team forts have been destroyed there is nothing you can do but delay the inevitable, everything your team does ends up with your teams heroes die in seconds all together and just feed the enemy even more xp ,* at this point i wish there was a VOTE option to end the match and give up * but you have to suffer through this until the end , so rather then feeding the enemy i try to grab 1 or 2 mercs anywhere on the field but am being hunted down really quickly due to the full map control the enemy has * and when you die people complain * this is what bugs me you can either try something and get complaints or you can do not much at all and get complaints and when 1 complains more will follow because now they have a scapegoat to vent their frustrations on so you cant wait till its over and you cant attack because that's feeding ..and when the match is lost everybody piles on top of each other to blame everybody or 1 or 2 people and its a curse and report fest and ITS TOXIC !!

to sum this up : Blizzard has made Hots TO TOXIC !!! remove this over abused report option and change Hots up to a more regulated game where people can openly express themselves without the chance of them abusing this heinous report tool to make them feel better , its normal for some people to not being able to stand losing , losing isn't fun and wasting 11 mins out of 24 min match knowing you will lose becoming inevitable everybody knows this but not everybody can deal with it and most people will throw around reports like its Christmas all to avoid the feelings of frustration and rage .. and to not let them go through the motion they may actually suck at this game and or are Blind to what the heroes are designed to do or are capable of doing ..

it really pisses me off that people throw around these reports like its normal why doesn't blizz remove this abusive tool, blizz has made reporting people in Hots to Openly and to accessible for toxic players and hasn't come up with a solution to forfeit a match when more then 1 players see that winning is not an option Give us the VOTE and REMOVE Reports and Make Hots more Open where people can CHOOSE to enter a game where people can be complete assholes id rather have that!! then a game where people complain to no end over NOTHING !! and this kinda sums up the darkside of hots , getting to tired of these Toxic hots players who have little to no understanding of the game and blizz not fixing this problem

Over a 20 some years the gaming industry as a whole has been looking to solve these problems. I think the closest they gotten is overwatch. In other words, mute and ignore everyone, be a better person, and that might help whatever this post says.
Humans are just assholes when put in a competition, can't change human nature.

To calrify, I am not calling you in particular an asshole. I am trying to say generally everyone can get grouchy or mean when in competition and everyone can stand to be better

Just because you're a specialist doesn't mean you get to ignore every objective or that you never have to help your team. It also sounds like you're dying quite a bit when going for the forts. Map awareness is a big thing in this game especially on the smaller maps, you should know when to stop pushing and retreat. It's good that you can put up enough pressure that the enemy team can't ignore you, but just staying in lane until you die is really harmful to the overall game especially on longer death timers.

This dosen't solve problem in long term because suprise! Person you ignore can still be matched with you in next game, no matter when.

Ya, unfortunately there are hundreds of thousands of these people. And you wouldn't be a me to ignore/block all of them. Have you considered my other statement? Be a better person and move on with your life? It's helped me a ton. It's why I quit league of legends actually...

But actually in LoL if you put someone on block list, is never matched with you again...

That's wrong and they even explain in detail why it would be impossible to do so:

    https://nexus.leagueoflegends.com/en...ing-real-talk/

In short: you cannot give players influence on the matchmaker, as it would cause queue times to explode; and you don't want to give them influence as it would certainly be abused,

HotS is a team based game. Either work WITH your team or play AI. Quick Match is not the place to be ignoring your team.
What I expect, not necessarily what I want, to happen within Battle for Azeroth:
Zekhan to begin his hero's journey - Rexxar will die - Lightforged Forsaken Alliance - Saurfang will die - Vulpera Horde - Old Gods no earlier than final patch - Jaina and Sylvanas are NOT under Old God influence - Thrall will die - Sylvanas will kill Saurfang - Junker Gnomes Alliance - Jaina vs Thrall cinematic - Varian's "kindness" is repaid

First, picking a specialist doesn't mean "I get to PVE all game and ignore everything else", like at least 75% of people picking specialists seem to think it does. You still need to participate in objectives and you still need to be there for team fights. If you don't know how to/can't balance those duties, don't pick a specialist. Playing with a PVE-only specialist is a very frustrating experience for the rest of the team.

Secondly, the true problem with HOTS is the people who queue into games and do literally nothing for the length of the game. In the last 24 hours alone I've been in two matches where players had statlines of straight zeroes (outside of XP) for the entire game. They did nothing. It's horrible because you're basically stuck in a game for 20 minutes and can't get out of it, can't requeue, can't do a damn thing other than sit there and lose. And they laugh about it in chat saying Blizzard will do nothing about it...and the worst bit is they're probably right. That sort of account needs to be perma-banned. Silencing it does nothing.

The formatting of your post is the most toxic thing I've seen on the internet since the announcement of mists of pandaria.
How do you know if someone's been playing since pre-BC? Don't worry, THEY NEVER SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT IT.

"Pandaren were the most requested race in WoW by the community!!!"...yet many years later, they rank alongside the lowest played races on every online statistic, and Blizzard is making no effort whatsoever to put them in evidence in lore. Makes you think...

Specialists =/= PvE siege machines. If your team is fighting on mid 4v5 while you're right clicking a tower on bot and one of them dies, you had two options.

    A) You could have realized they're fighting a losing battle and got there in the 3-4 seconds it takes to get there netting in a fair fight or a disengage from an enemy team who just wanted to score an easy kill in a 5v4 scenario.
    B) Stick to the tower, lose 2-3 teammates and the mid lane fort. That way you get crap XP while they get a HUGE advantage.

If your team wants to fight, it's never the right call to ignore them. Even if it's not a good call to fight at the time and your team insists on it, go for it and do your best instead of ignoring them and that way making sure they lose the fight. You can't win games on your own, especially in HotS.

Aside from general toxicity players like you are one of the few things that makes my piss boil when I play Heroes of the Storm..
Also not participating in a teamfight as Nazeebo is a huge waste of potential.

Typical specialist beginner with no clue what he/she is doing.

Nazeebo can actually wreak havoc in team fights while still being capable of shredding towers. His zoning and point control abilities are excellent and he can make a huge impact in objectives. A specialist does far more than lane soaking. Sylvanas is my most played hero, and I try to build her with the map and team in mind. All players should do this regardless of role.

Whilst this is absolutely true in the mid and late game, ignoring eg. the first tribute to smash a keep down to 50% or even destroy it (dep. on specialist) is simply worth more than successfully contesting. Same goes for a few other maps where the first objective is comparatively weak. Be there to stop the Triglav or DK when the enemy team gets it sure; but if all 5 of them are gonna let you loose in your lane; you can do more damage than the first objective will achieve anyway.

I agree it may be frustrating for your team. The number of times you get flack because they lose a 4v4 though (i.e. you faced off against on of theirs when staying in lane, eg. Zagara vs Gazlowe or Sylvanas) is stupid. It's like "If I go help with the objective we will lose a keep + lane xp anyway, sorry you couldn't win a 4v4".

I'm not trying to make a case for EVERY example, but it's simply not always the best to go support your team on the first objectives compared to what you will get done if you skip it.

Would nobody agree that *some* specialists are very limited in what they can do in a team fight at the low levels/talent choices?

Dying a lot? You can die once and people flip. I used to do something like what he does with nazeebo on azmodan. I would die sometimes from not paying attention to the map, but it wasn't often enough to warrant not utilizing it. It's hard enough for a number of champions to outlane specialists, take their sippy cup away and you cripple their staying power. Some of the advice you give here should have been followed by his team, like not fighting 4v5.
