Overwatch News: This Week Brigitte May Not Appear and Sombra will Get Updates

Jeff Kaplan made another appearance with a news saying that people may not be able to use Brigette this week. She will not make it to the game. He thanked everyone for their contribution to the testing of Brigitte. Also, he told that she is ready to go into the game but not this week. They are working on some little updates and we can hope to see her in next week or soon. Brigitte was in test period from February 28. This announcement took place on March 14.
Not just that there was another announcement also that said that Sombra will have some little but major updates. These updates will make a big effect on the standard playstyle of Sombra. Sombra’s changes were suggestions from the players from Overwatch League and Overwatch forum. They received some review that the character is too heavy and make big damages. Overwatch listened to its users and made some pretty much balancing. These are like:
    • If Sombra is hacking anyone and got interrupted by damage then Hacking will go to cooldown state for 2 sec. That means player need to be more careful now while trying to hack someone.
    • There was a slight gap when Sombra tries to hack for 0.1 seconds. During this period it can’t be canceled. This was just there so that line of sight (LOS) may not get affected by any small LOS breakers.
    • These two news are the latest appeared on the forum. These updates cannot be ignored by the players. These official announcements appeared in recent days and gamers may not be happy with Brigitte but Sombra update is good news here for everyone.

There are some companion type applications those help you in learning game and making team before the match and will keep you updates with the game news. You can also tie up with other player learn from them and coach them about how game works. GetGood app let you earn if you are a coach. On other side, Overstats and OverSumo are like many other companion app and these are not official.

Irritating =/= good, having any impact, or dominating a match. Nerfing a bad hero, it's ridiculous.

So then the game may be playable again by what, the 30th? Around ten days of people crying and quitting because they don't get to play the new character sounds about right...
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning.

Also this week, blizzard is threatening with fines if you post memes on social media. What a fucking joke lmao
All this cause of their un-paralleled greed, they can't have anything that could be remotely be perceived as offensive, can't scare away Doritos and other companies trying to sell their crap thru the OWL! So they turned into this stalking machine - this goes quite a bit beyond 'tackling toxicity'.

Is not just memes, Pepe is like Swastika or Confederate flags, white pointy hats, burning crosses, and Tiki Torches at this point. Sorry, but blame Nazis for co-opting it.

You can’t plead ignorance at this point.

OWL players aren't customers. They're employees, who agreed to abide by a code of conduct and ethics, almost certainly, as part of their contracts. So yeah; when they breach those voluntary rules they agreed to, they'll face the consequences. Same thing happens in professional sports leagues all the time.

Yes, everyone using a pepe emote in twitch chat is a nazi. This is the slippery slope we're cruising on atm.
Retards can co-opt anything to ruin it? Not cool.

Sure, there are guidelines to follow. But surely between being a jackass in public/social media bringing shame to the brand with racist statements or the like and using a meme ... there's a bit of in-between, right?

Personally, I blame blizzard's greed and model used for the OWL.

They may not be a Nazi but you these same idiots spamming Swastikas and shouting the N word in chat as well. They know what it means, the intent is inflammatory, so they get punished.

Not particularly, especially not for public faces of the group like the players. They represent their employer 24/7. It doesn't matter if poor behaviour took place during "off hours", not one whit. This isn't even new; this has been absolutely standard business practice for about as long as there's been business, definitely predating the 20th Century.

Yes Nazi retards can co-opt any symbol they want, just ask the guy who invented Pepe as a chill weed smoking frog in his comic. He tried to recapture it but ended up killing the character off to get away from the Nazis.

Either the players have to understand that they are in a professional setting or OWL needs to stop recruiting streamers who use unprofessional behavior to entertain. When you get your first job you walk in knowing that you can’t say fuck every third word. Welcome to fuckin McDonalds what can I fuckin get you today? Can I fuckin supersize that for ya?

Frankly the players need personal managers looking out for the players interests and to help educate the players in what is expected of them and how to survive in this environment. In th NFL they give players classes in how to manage having millions of dollars and how to avoid gold diggers who just want to get pregnant by a millionaire to have an income for 18 years. Players need something that prepares them for this setting.
If you push a button that finds you a 'random group' and it gives you a random group of people with random skill and random knowledge then you have no right to complain that a 'random group' button did what it was designed to do. The fault lies in your inability to make friends to play with instead of relying on a button designed to be random. It is a 'random group' button, not a 'best of the best' button.
