Weak Aura Help - Actionbar slot clicky thingy

not sure how to explain this...
im trying to replicate the inner border highlight thingy when u attempt to use an action slot.
got one of those mice with grid of buttons on side and made a grid of WA icons on screen to match it, would be nice to see which button im spamming while i learn

Any particular reason you can't do that with something like Bartender, Domino's, or whatever other actionbar addon you're using?

Just seems like it'd be a lot easier
