Why are Reese's Peanut Butter Cups so amazing?

Reese's peanut butter cups have tasted horrible for ages. Fuck Reese's. If you're ever in the San Francisco bay area try the peanut butter cup varieties that Ghirardelli makes. Now THOSE are delicious.

Trader Joes makes a knock-off version of exactly that. They are amazing.

Those are great. Basically any locally made chocolate is better than the national brands (although Ghirardelli and Moonstruck are basically national brands now).
