i thought his post was funny. Other than "Bye Felicia" i thought of those old men that hate the world because women wear trousers and shorts now instead of dresses and long skirts.

It's always been about character fantasy, rather than leet raid deeps for me. If one spec is so overwhelmingly dominant that picking one of the others is going to have a legitimate impact on my experience in LFR (Rogue's not even close to my main, so I doubt I'll be pushing for a Mythic raid spot anyway) or WQs.

With regards to Fantasy, I made my rogue because I wanted a class that would realistically be dual wielding fist weapons at some point so I could best enjoy playing a Worgen character slashing his way through life with big werewolf claws. Legion didn't do me any favors in that regard, mostly because there was absolutely no way for a rogue to wield fist weapons, even with transmog, the whole xpac.

That being the situation, I'll be going Comboutlaw specifically for access to fist weapons and the transmogs thereof.

I think all three specs are gonna be good in BFA

Probably a caster, to play something different. Mage, destro lock, sp. Still got 3 months to see what is good pvp wise and decide then.

If you played fallout 4 you heard the song "Grandma plays the numbers" and that is what i will probably do. I will play the numbers. The spec that can do the best in raids and mythic +. Thats what most people who play a dps class will do. Its just how people works.

As for the spec i want to play the most. its outlaw. Access to more than one weapon type, meaning weapon drops will drop more than one type, increasing your chances to get weapons. Bigger loot pool. Plus ofcourse something that is semi important to me. Transmogs. But i can't go a specific class purely on transmogs.

I am glad if that makes you feel good.

Assassination and Comb... Outlaw, but since Assa is looking like a really well rounded spec with great tools for everything probably just that.

After many years of being dps and mainly rogue I'm ditching dps role completely and joining healing role.

Getting a bit more responsibility while not focusing 100% on what ability to spam next to maximize dps but actually enjoy encounters, give calls and see the fight as a whole would be nice change.

Adding to that, testing rogue in bfa I didn't really like it, it doesn't bring much into raid either after nerfing our defensives (which was justified but not compensated) I would assume monk and dh with their raid buffs brings more. Currently I main SP in antorus and I love it, but bfa sp change isn't my cup of tea so bailing that as well, and it seemed right time to join another ship.

I want sub to be as it is on live, with massive st potential as its main forte. However i have a hard time utilizing shuriken tornado, and with the other talent still nyi its not up to my expectations. Where dfa temporarily removed control of your character, tornado temporarily removes or atleast restrains your ability to optimize CP usage. Its quite hard to get used to the timings to not overcap or use a finisher at subpar situations.

As it stands now i think assassination is the most wellrounded spec for both raids and High m+

Sin and Sub, without legendaries and AP it should be much easier to maintain both specs since they both use daggers

yeah, tornado is only worth using if it's gonna hit at least 5 targets every time

assasination since the other two specs are hollow representations of what they once were

I don't really care for sub (although I played it in ToS just because of how strong it was), so I'll go with whichever is strongest of sin and outlaw. I prefer outlaw overall, but I suspect sin will be the stronger spec so more than likely what I'll play. plus, I have mained feral so long, dot/bleed specs are my forte.

I love Sin but i love more seeing my dps up there on the charts. What do you guys think about assasination on the beta, is it looking competitive comparing with other classes or is it too soon to tell. I saw some videos and demo warlocks and arcane mages were looking pretty strong.

    Always gonna play Ass.
    1) Load the amount of weight I would deadlift onto the bench
    2) Unrack
    3) Crank out 15 reps
    4) Be ashamed of constantly skipping leg day

  19. #159
Outlaw probably, I enjoy the theme.

I mained a BM hunter even when it was an utter shitshow DPS during legion but still managed to make it work in my raiding guild, I'll just do the same with Outlaw, we're not cutting edge mythic world first, so It'll be fine.

It is absolutely too soon to tell.
