Ah, I just entered this thread and there's already a priest vs paladin war going on, guess this shit never gets old.

Guess I'd be in a pinch for saying priests and paladins are about equal in overall strength? they both heal differently but contribute just as much.

But that's purely where raiding is concerned, as for pvp Holy pala is god tier.

But still no, priests use many heals, not just heal spam, depends a lot on the role you are assigned to, and what boss you are doing.

no it really doesn't your assigns should be allowing you to just sit there spamming something like heal over and over as long as it's not too bursty

Only real exceptions are soak mechanics and when a pull is breaking down
