Prestige in BfA

In Battle for Azeroth, all of your Prestige levels are going to merge. So if you have three characters who reached Prestige 4 in Legion, your account will be set to Prestige 12 in Battle for Azeroth.

Does this mean most of us will be prestige 25 on all characters and receive all the PvP weapon looks & All the mounts and other rewards?
Or are we just gonna run around with a bunch of useless achievements and an icon nobody cares for?

Removing the prestige from the prestige system but okay. It was pretty much useless anyway.

What a ridiculous idea. Did they forget that they nerfed the warden towers because it was too easy to get honor from them? Or that the first honor levels on a new character have a built in catch-up mechanism?

People grinded to 26 on one character for the little rewards available, and now Blizzard is just going to completely trivialize it.

It's pretty sad that the people with the highest prestige for "PVP" will be the people who farmed world quests on a shit ton of alts that require little to no PVP at all...

thats why everyone says, pvp is dead in WoW.

blizzard are wasting time in BfA trying to revive it, their loss they want another WoD where half the playerbase just unsubs they can have it.

I mean, apart from the first Honor level, the rest are pretty static Honor XP per level, so doing multiple characters wouldn't really get you much further ahead unless you just did WQ's on multiple Chars a day.

I'll be sure to tell my group of friends that all PvP more now in Legion than they had since Wrath that apparently PvP is dead

I'm liking this change.. I always though it was silly to lock everything to a single character in a game that is so pro-alt. If you were able to unlock something on one character, it's kind of sad to think they couldn't on another character. Making PVP rankings account-wide would just make the pointless gating on alt's go away. The only thing they need to do is, adjust how much honor you can get from everything or put a cap on how much you can make each week. Either way, probably one of the better changes i have seen for the expansion.

Will these accumulate if I have multiple characters with prestige level 1 (as in honor talents unlocked)? So 10 characters with honor talents unlocked + 10 honor levels?
