LFR gone in BFA?

someone in my guild said they are removing LFR in BfA now I don't believe it because it caters to too many people.

Can anyone confirm or deny whether it's true? alleged source is a Q&A with Ian.

LFR is a permanent fixture of this game, tryhards (whom never amount to anything) wanting it gone will just have to suck it up or find a game that doesn't offer content for the masses.

Nope. They've already said that LFR is the thing that justifies them even making raid content at all anymore. The most recent Q & A didn't even mention raids/LFR at all.

Complaints about it have gone down since the implementation of Mythic+
People are no longer stuck doing LFR to get decent gear at the beginning of the xpac.

People keep crying the LFR is toxic, but I've been doing it on a whole pile of alts and the only toxic people I've encountered are these "true raiders," overgeared people in there for no reason that either show up to make trouble, or spend the entire time spouting off and being an elitist, insulting dick until they get kicked.

What does raiding in LFR have to do with wanting Vanilla?

Considering that the funding for raiding would dry up without lfr, it will be here forever. High end raiders should be pushing for more, not less, lfr resources/raids, as more lfr raiding = more money spent on raiding development.
