400 Mount Reward - Let Blizzard know

We need to make Blizzard aware on the official forums that the 400 mount reward is a complete joke of a reward for one of the most time consuming achievements in the game. A red version of a hearthstone mount is just not good enough.

The chance of this being changed, however slim, can only increase if we let Blizzard know. (Though they should already)

Thing probably is, if the 400 mount reward is some super duper awesome and unique mount, the other part of the community will start complaining that they'll never earn it because it is to hard and out of reach for them. Because you know, "I'm paying the same amount for my sub so I am entitled to get the same stuff as anybody else" kind of arguments and such.

That'd could result in the same model for the 400 achieve being used somewhere else in the game which then pisses off the 400 mount collection achievers in return for not having something exclusive. Vicious circle.

Sadly the contrarians over on the official wow forums are piling on to say they like it. All we can do is make noise back in hopes of getting a better 400 mount reward.

The sad thing is we settle for so little. I don't mind recolours if they refuse to make unique mounts but they should at least recolour a good looking mount.

I sympathise with your view, but you have to understand that there are fanboy imbeciles who revere Blizzard as God and will just accept whatever they do whenever they do it.

No hard work from blizz takes a horse and change color and other effect. From the other hand players had a hard time collect 400 mounts, spending money for the shop and time to farm some of them, or many.
Even if im not from the players are after mounts, i would to see a mechanical mount like the goblin buggy, can carrie 4 people, including the driver. THIS will be a perfect award for the 400 mounts.

Personally I quite like the look of this model. Tastes differ, so labelling it "a joke of a reward" just because you don't like it is silly. And your argument that it's just a reskin doesn't hold water since they have long had a precedent of making the obtain X mounts reward a reskin of an existing mount.

Lastly, no, it's not "one of the most time consuming achievements in the game". I currently have 457 mounts (and BFA isn't even out yet) and I have spent exactly zero time on the achievement. I like to collect mounts. That is the what consumes the time. I would have spent the time collecting them regardless of the achievement, so I don't regard the achievement as being responsible for the time spent. The reward for getting to the 400 mount mark isn't judge this one mount, it's this mount plus the 100 others you obtained since the 300 mount achievement....which is ample reward for the effort.

While the number for the achievement would presumably require me to subtract opposite faction-only (~12) and profession-only mounts (~3), I reckon I am still way over the 400 mark before BFA has even arrived. My material argument is still exactly the same.

My armoury says i have 457 too. My statistics tab says 372. Can care less about your argument, all i am saying is ya need to farm more!

None of the mount collecting rewards are new models. They all are just recolors.

And this red hearthstone mount looks realy cool. FYI, do you know that if you don't like the reward, you don't have to do the activities that reward it and if you get it regardless you don't have to use it.

They should at least switch the 350 & 400 rewards, the Infernal is way more epic than the horse.
